One suspects that even the mothers and girlfriends (or boyfriends) of the players will be glued to the screen watching the other group game. In Group D we see Colombia vs Japan take place in a must win game for the Asian Country/Island/Island-Nation or whatever you prefer to categorize them as. Surely we will see the Japanese go in Kamikaze style looking for a goal differential that gives them a small chance of advancing. Colombia is expected, but not guaranteed to make a substantial amount of subs which will help them be fresh for the second round.
Greece vs Cote D’Ivoire sees the African nation looking for a win to secure their safe passage, even though a tie is likely to get them by also. Greece on the other hand need to win and get some help from the Colombians. If you think watching Greece defend is boring than we are in for a treat. Nothing like watching a team with no ideas going forward desperate to score.
