FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 17
Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 17. A fourth green arrow on the spin, what is the world coming to? Maybe we are doing something right after all! 56 points in GW16 was a decent, if unspectacular, performance – the average was 43, so we’re happy and sees us rise to a ranking of 125,647. Like many, our week was dominated and made by Kane the captain who contributed 24 points. Obviously Salah helped, but then everyone has him, while Begovic’s penalty save at Palace helped him return 8pts. With 43 points out of 56 coming from three players, the less said about the rest the better, but many of you had similar outcomes and can relate. We move onto midweek GW17 with 2 free transfers and 2.1mln in the bank. The world is our oyster, surely…..
Last weeks ‘result’…
This week’s transfer(s) – we have sold Mustafi and bought Otamendi.
With Mustafi suffering the Arsenal curse (ie ‘he may be back next week’….7 months later, we’re still waiting…) we have dumped the German unceremoniously and bought City’s Otamendi who appears to be more likely to score than keep a clean sheet right now! We’re anything but greedy and if he carries on scoring then great – the Argentinian has scored four goals already this season and two in his last two games. Bit of a no-brainer transfer really.
It was also suggested that we sold Niasse and bought Charlie Austin – despite Austin’s decent form of late, one look at Southampton’s next 5 fixtures very quickly extinguished that idea. We may deal with Niasse next week with Calvert-Lewin the early suggested replacement. But that’s for GW18 – for now let’s deal with GW17 and celebrate an Otamendi hat-trick!

Our Captain is Harry Kane
After his brace at the weekend we have been sucked in by the troll and decided to captain him again. No-one else was really suggested, despite us also owning Salah and Hazard. So, it’s over to you Harry lad – keep on the scoring and we’ll be calling you ‘One of Our Own’ before long. Our vice-captain is Eden Hazard.

Alternatively I can play my WC.
Ive both options below and would appreciate some advice on which to do.
Draft WC team
I’d hold the WC for a couple of GW.
Sure, you will have to play it soon; but we could see many injuries/rotations coming in next GWs. Basically, playing it now would mostly be to bring Hazard in (and loose DDG); holding it would allow you to react to future injuries/rotations.
Given the heavy schedule, i would try to wait a little.
Tough call this week. Got 2 players un-playable. 1 FT and 0.3 ITB. Any suggestions guys?

Impressive team that you have guys, looks good set for this und coming weeks (exept from Niasse of course). So you think Elliot comes back into the team, or is it just hope?

Don´t even know why Benitez made the change in goal. Elliot played good, not worldclass but good. Sure he had a few mistakes, but Darlow didn´t impress too much in his 3 games. I see every chance that Elliot comes back sooner or later!

0 FT, 0.4 ITB. Morata and Moreno off, Mee at doubt, Abraham probably benched.
If Mee confirmed available, I was tempted to leave it as is. If not, and Morata seems to be rested tonight only, I would do Abraham–>Calvert-Lewin. But I see that a lot in my position would do Morata->Firmino.
So:
1- No hit
2- Hit: Abraham–>Calvert-Lewin
3- Hit: Morata->Frimino
4- Hit: Moreno-><4.9 defender?
