Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW15. Hmmm, we don’t quite know what to make of that past week. 9 of our 11 posted some sort of return, albeit a modest one. Patricio and Richarlison aside every other player scored 5 or above, which is usually a good sign. The problem was that only one of those actually broke the six point barrier and that was Doherty… with 7. We didn’t even get to see our captain play as Kun took the day off, as did our vice-captain Salah, in an ironically different fashion. All in all then we landed on 55 points which was 6 above the average but still meant a minor red arrow for us as we fell 2k in the overall rankings to 60,606th. Last weeks transfer of Sane in for Lucas Moura was looking promising until FPL Towers deemed his ‘first assist’ not to be one, despite all evidence to the contrary. His shot was downgraded to a ‘cross/pass’. Pass. Idiots.

Anyhow, onwards and upwards, two weeks ago we promised you a Hazard transfer and ultimately decided against it. Last week we promised you a Kane transfer…. Let’s go see how close we came to keeping our word this time!

Last weeks result in full…

This weeks transfer decision(s)
For once we are actually going to push through and do what we said we would. No drama or excitement this week, a simple vote with a clear outcome sees Kane come in for Aguero. For what it’s worth Aubameyang did garner one vote as an alternative but the majority felt that Kane at home against Southampton was too good an opportunity to pass up, although we’ve all been here before with Kane in the recent past haven’t we?! The decision itself was dealt a small blow this morning once it was announced that Saints are now sans the ball and chain that is Mark Hughes.

We detailed our Kun to Kane justification last week and that all still stands so we won’t repeat ourselves. Well ok, we will, literally – “It’s long been told that Spurs’ fixtures turn for the better come GW15 and this does indeed seem to be the case with Southampton (H), Leicester (A) and Burnley (H) as their next 3 after this weekend as well as then facing Bournemouth and Wolves at home and Cardiff away over the Christmas period. But how on earth can we afford a 2nd premium striker without killing half of our midfield and 2 of our defenders? Truth is we probably can’t and so we need a sacrificial lamb and that comes in the shape of Aguero for us (*gulp). When we delve into his fixtures versus the Kane ones above we see that he has Watford and Chelsea away after this week followed by a potentially challenging Everton tie, albeit at home. Kun has been a bit ‘meh’ away from home whereas we can see Kane being captaincy material in a good few of his games”. Plus he’s potentially injured. Farewell for a bit Sergio…

To confirm then we have… SOLD: AGUERO & BOUGHT: KANE

Our Captain is Harry Kane
Little surprise here then with the strength of fixture and Kane has returned in his last four games now, and none of them were quite as ‘easy’ as Southampton at home. Fool me once and all that…

Salah gets our Vice band if the unthinkable happens and Kane is rested.

Our team in full…

    Hey guys,

Just out of interest – who would everyone prefer as their fourth midfielder – Anderson or Fraser?

    Cheers!

Why Kane and not Auba? His form is way better than Kane’s and the fixtures are great. He is often left out in the captain picks as well, including this week even though ManU has a terrible defence that suffers from alot of injuries at that, and Auba is the top goal scoring player in pl right now…

    How come?

      Kop Warrior says:

Over the past 4 game-weeks Auba has only outscored Kane by 4pts so I don’t think you can say his form is way better. Before the NLD I saw very few people talking about bringing Auba in.

      • AllanBrallan says:

Well, that’ one way to see it. Auba has outscored Kane by 12 points in the last 2 gameweeks and by 34 in the last 7 gameweeks…

        • Kop Warrior says:

          So you’ve bought Auba?

        • AllanBrallan says:

          Yes but it dosen`t matter…

I just wonder why someone with such a great run is less popular on the sitt than someone who does not have a great run…

          Just wondering, not criticising….

        • Kop Warrior says:

I know you’re not mate. Kane is popular due to what he’s done over the past 3/4 seasons. I expect Auba will start to become more popular over the coming weeks.

        • AllanBrallan says:

It`s history i guess. We all know what Kane possibly could do…

          It`s possibly do vs doing….

        • AllanBrallan says:

The fear of not owning a player is real.

No one would pay 13.0 for a player that scores one goal per game at the most and takes no bonus points. But still many do beacuse of last season. Including myself….

So is that why you transferred Auba out for Jiminez and Sala in for Barkley in GW 13?

      DMC says:

Both are good options. Kane has the fixtures after the Barca game (and has a better fixture this midweek) and is a proven EPL goalscorer. He hasn’t yet found his FPL brutal form but he will, eventually. People are trying to anticipate that and the Kun news accelerated it even more. So for those planning to buy him after the Barca game it makes sense to do it now because he has Saints at home. If you have the money for a simple swap it makes sense. Even more if you don’t have a WC. Auba is more explosive atm and seems to be fixture proof so he’s a great option too and cheaper. He may not be as nailed as Kane though so that’s a thing. All that said, I have bought Auba for Kun (no money for a direct buy of Kane) planning to WC somewhere after said Barca game and find a way to then get Kane and a Spurs mid perhaps keeping Auba if he continues to bang.

      Hi Anon,

I think at Risk are Robertson, Mane, Aguero
I think worth transferring out are: Martial and the above three.

Questions you need to ask yourself
      1. Do you want to wildcard now?
2.) Or take do a transfer and wildcard next GW

If 1 – look at my own team posted below – i just wildcarded.
If 2 – i suggest doing Aguero to Kane.

      all the best!

      • Anon says:

I’m really not sure, I’m leaning towards getting Auba in, straight swap on Aguaro, then maybe Shaqiri in for a -4. It’s a bit risky, but i really want to use the wildcard after this GW to sort everything out heading into Christmas. MAne and Robertson has really screwed me over

        • lsd1980s says:

Auba straight in is also fine considering their fixtures beyond this united game.

Yeap Wildcard beyond this GW is a good decision. Sort out the team for Christmas!

    Mourinho’s press conference 😆 😆

Can you update us at all?

No. I don’t want to update you, Arsenal TV to make the same questions but they don’t they hide everything from the inside, so why should I answer to you so why should I give anything to you.
