Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW19. Sergio took to the boards this week and he couldn’t have put it any better; “Nightmare gameweek for the site team :see-no: “. It may have been his sole contribution this week but at least he was 100% accurate with it! 45 points saw us with 10 less than the overall average. Kane got us a third of our overall points with his 15, the rest averaged 3 each. Enough said. Overall it saw us plunge back down 25,000 odd places to finish in 84,654th.

We go into GW19 with 1 free transfer and a more than healthy bank balance of £3.2m, but with a wildcard to swing at our issues could this finally be the week….?
This weeks transfer decision(s)
Yes, in short! The wildcard is finally active. The trouble with playing it now is of course rotation, we could make the best team possible and still see half of them benched. It’ll look and feel like egg on the face but we just need to crack on and take it, should it happen. The upside is that we can at least have a passable and active bench to come in for whichever one (or many) of our superstars take a break.
As for the selections themselves we’ve bought into the ‘Ole Revolution’ a fair bit here, threefold in fact. Their fixtures possibly warrant it though. A first home game against Huddersfield certainly does, if nothing else. Son gets a temporary spot for three weeks before he leaves us and Spurs for the Asian Cup in January. The rest is fairly self explanatory. There’s no Hazard, no Arsenal and no Richarlison but that’s not to say we snubbed any of them particularly, we would probably have taken any or all of them but as the saying goes “you can’t have them all”.
Our Captain is Mo Salah
This was fairly close between him and Kane, 3 votes to 2 close, in fact. Both have form and fixture in their favour so the truth is that we are just happy to have both of them, luck will probably decide whether we landed on the correct side of the fence.

I missed the Kane captaincy boat last GW. Should I captain Kane or Auba?
I like Kane personally but both are good choices in truth.
Thanks Gallant Pioneer. I thought with the Dunk red card, that Brighton’s defense may be weak. However, not knowing who Unai Emery will play to support Auba does not help. I am leaning towards Kane as well. lool

Yeah you can roll the transfer GP. Alternatives are Martial in for Anderson but he’s not done much wrong or Shaw in for Coleman
Coleman is on the guillotine tbh. That one hasn’t worked out.
I think my defence is ok without Shaw this week although he is on the shortlist.

Play Bennett ahead of Bednarek if you feel WH will score. Fulham may too, but you don’t have Wolves defensive cover so that would help should they not.

I love the options in defence there. I have AWB and Bednarek myself. Great value both.
I would go Sane for City coverage as I see he is the same price as KDB. I think the attacking returns will be greater.

Thanks GP yeah KDB or Sane I’m not sure about. KDB, he’s potentially a better long term pick but he’s going to be eased back. KDB potentially increasing in price might be playing on my mind
Team looks good smash. Did you consider Targett instead of Bednarek?
Targett is too expensive just don’t have that luxury. Zed who is a Saints fan said Bednerak was a better option as seems to be in favour with new boss. Bertrand will be back soon as well

Sorry for the repost, but I would really appreciate some advice.
This is my team as it stands. 2 FT, 0.3 itb, no idea what to do.
Before Auba and Kane both exploded, my plan was to hock Kane for the returning Kun, and use the cash to
a) Sterling to Salah
or add Sterling to KDB as well and then use the even better cash to
b) Success to Rashford, or
c) Guendozi to Pogba
B and C would have required an extra transfer, so it would have to be either for a hit, or over two weeks.
But Auba and Kane fireworks have put me back at square one, and now I don’t know how to proceed.
Any suggestions?
Sterling to Sane and Success to Rashford work?
If not Sterling to Sane and Guendouzi to Lingard?

Might as well sell Balbuena for Bednarek and accrue a few more quid and reassess next week. Dangerous game that of changing City mids.

Those are four good options but it’s hard to ask anyone to predict who’ll get most.
Yeah, just worried about not having Kane or Salahas they will be the popular choices.

Anthony Martial and James Garner both travelled down to the match against Cardiff last week, but were not seen with the rest of the squad as they arrived on Tuesday night.
Although the pair were not spotted by MEN photographers Martial has been known to join up with the squad at a later time, and is not believed to be a doubt for the upcoming fixture.
