Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW19. Sergio took to the boards this week and he couldn’t have put it any better; “Nightmare gameweek for the site team :see-no: “. It may have been his sole contribution this week but at least he was 100% accurate with it! 45 points saw us with 10 less than the overall average. Kane got us a third of our overall points with his 15, the rest averaged 3 each. Enough said. Overall it saw us plunge back down 25,000 odd places to finish in 84,654th.

We go into GW19 with 1 free transfer and a more than healthy bank balance of £3.2m, but with a wildcard to swing at our issues could this finally be the week….?
This weeks transfer decision(s)
Yes, in short! The wildcard is finally active. The trouble with playing it now is of course rotation, we could make the best team possible and still see half of them benched. It’ll look and feel like egg on the face but we just need to crack on and take it, should it happen. The upside is that we can at least have a passable and active bench to come in for whichever one (or many) of our superstars take a break.
As for the selections themselves we’ve bought into the ‘Ole Revolution’ a fair bit here, threefold in fact. Their fixtures possibly warrant it though. A first home game against Huddersfield certainly does, if nothing else. Son gets a temporary spot for three weeks before he leaves us and Spurs for the Asian Cup in January. The rest is fairly self explanatory. There’s no Hazard, no Arsenal and no Richarlison but that’s not to say we snubbed any of them particularly, we would probably have taken any or all of them but as the saying goes “you can’t have them all”.
Our Captain is Mo Salah
This was fairly close between him and Kane, 3 votes to 2 close, in fact. Both have form and fixture in their favour so the truth is that we are just happy to have both of them, luck will probably decide whether we landed on the correct side of the fence.

Yeah I have a similar problem with WB he prob should be playing but no idea who to bench instead
I would play WB and bench either Shaw or Kola. Reasoning is WB is owned by 30% vs ~5% of the other two, so if he blanks that won’t hurt you whereas if he has a 9 pointer on your bench and one of those two have a stinker you’ll suffer in terms of ranking. I prefer one of the others as the said supersub. Gun to my head: play Kola, bench Shaw.
I’m playing WB ahead of Kola this week.
Have a feeling rotations will have them both on the pitch come the end of the gameweek though.
(1) If you have to lose 1 between Fraser and Wilson (for a scrub) – which one will you do?
(2) Will TAA start? Any news? Last saw that he did full training.
(3) Which 3 to start? Alonso, Doherty, Digne, Wan-B, Lowe (planning to sell Lowe for TAA/Lovren) – then it will be even more difficult to pick 3.
No UTD player – not sure if its a good decision – still few hours to go to decide. So far changed (C) 5 times between Salah and Kane – may be I will do a coin-toss.
1) I’d ditch Fraser
2) We have no other news but guess so.
3) Got to start Alonso for that price. Play Doherty and Liverpool player.

Ha ha…doing that only…. thats why did not do any transfer with 2 FTs in bag. No office today…resting at home and learning to keep patience for a change this season… my avg. hit every season is close to 80-90 points….28 this season half-way. So far watched everyone to do all sorts of changes with educated guesses.

Looks very strong and balanced Shane. Personal preference, I’d have Robbo and Lingard ahead of Lovren and Martial, if that’s possible. Just because of Robbos’ consistent double digit hauls.

You couldn’t make this up. After last Friday I was 33-7 down to my cup opponent; after Saturday, 50-35 with only Rich to play for both and Kane for me. I joked on the boards about needing him to score a Hattie+assist, but as it went down 2 goals and that odd assist + 2bps were enough to tie this affair, which I then won on the first tie breaker, mainly because of Kane’s two goals. Good lad! I don’t give a damn about the cup but given how this went down I’m now going to win it! Doenst really matter to anyone but yeah I thought I’s share it while I wait for Chins’ toast. Here’s hoping for a highscoring Boxing Day and many green arrows to everyone!

Thats nice and satisfying way to win. I already lost 48-58 in GW18…anyway never cared about H2H (Cup or Mini-leagues), my target is to break OR: 10k (not able to do it in 4 seasons).
Or perhaps not then…I’ve just been crushed by this guy with Lucas Digne, Siggy and Son capo. There goes my fairy tale cup story
