FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW2
Well, well, well – 82 points scored in GW1 with 37 of those points coming from our 3 playing defenders. Robertson, Shaw and Mendy all performed heroically with bonus points flying all over the place! Richarlison’s brace was also most welcome while Salah chipped in with his customary goal. Firmino provided an assist but with Liverpool scoring four we may have expected more. The rest of our number were 2pt bums, while like many other managers, we left Wan-Bissaka’s 12 points on the bench.
Overall we are delighted with the start, overall rank means nothing at this stage.
Last Week’s Result
What have we done this week?
Like many of you we have decided to sit on our hands this week and roll our transfer over. To be honest this was always the plan and it would have taken a significant injury to one of our players to have forced us into the transfer market. Thankfully we didn’t own KDB! Two transfers next week coupled with the 0.5mln we have stashed in the bank should give us an element of flexibility. We will be paying close attention to both Cairney and King this weekend as neither impressed in GW1.
The Team In Full…
Captain – Sergio Aguero
Unlike last week we were actually forced to take a vote this week. As you can see Aguero came out on top but only just. He carried the vote three votes to two over Mo Salah. Of course there is the chance that Pep will start Jesus over Kun but we believe that to be unlikely and a home game against Huddersfield is too good an opportunity to turn down.

***NEW ARTICLE _ SITE TEAM GW2***
Bit boring as we did nothing but them’s the facts. If nothing else you can see who we captained, have a snooze, wake up and then carry on chatting about your own plans or whatever.
I agree with kun as captain can see a hat trick coming! just out of interest if you guys did decide to do a transfer for the site team would it be reported on here straight away or would you leave it until the Thursday article. That’s if you did a transfer before Thursday
It’s rare that we make a transfer before Thursday.
Very. In fact it’s what usually holds the article up until a Friday as we wait until the pressers have passed before actually doing it and then publish this late Friday instead.
Hey lads, this is me now. Had a ok start to the season with 69 pts, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Am I ok to roll the transfer or do I need to find space for Richarlison? (Was thinking Firmino and Stephens out for Arnie and Richarlison for -4 but don’t know if it’s worth it)
Also which defender would you start? Wan, Peltier or Cook?
Hi Keethan,I think I’ll hold the transfers and start Cook.Wan bissaka will concede and the assists wont happen every gw. Peltier has a easier gamw on paper but im not convinced by Cardiff. Cook might likely concede too but seems the better bet. And the transfers you’ve mentioned are pretty good and you could make them in gw 3 for no hit.

Cheers everyone! Rolling the FT.
Sensible stuff here from the site team! Can’t fault you for being boring as that’s what I’m doing too. Price rises are a deadly trap that I often fall into for hits, so it’s a miracle that I still don’t have WannyB, Pereyra, and Mendy in my squad!
A little help here on who to play/bench. Need to play 2 from 4: Peltier/Schlupp/Daniels/Cairney
1. Peltier has the best fixture on paper, but it’s Cardiff…
2. Have a feelin Cairney will sit back away to Spurs and be much less involved in the attack, but he’s still likely to be one of the two I play
3. Not expecting a CS from either Schlupp or Daniels, but in all honesty neither of them are in their for CS potential.
So, what’ll it be???
As you have it Pancho.
Thanks GP! Only really tempted by Schlupp in for Cairney. Not sure who will take the initiative in that one. Both teams usually set up and live for the counter attack. Would usually assume it’ll be Pool, but Palace at home, but I could see Palace taking it at them for the first 20mins and then sitting back. We will see…
I would play Schlupp as he’s currently playing OOP and Daniels as most chance of a CS imo and can pop up with the odd goal
Thanks Seals! Was tempted in that direction.
This is fine. I like this squad very much. Kane has a great record in London derbies.
Captain kun over Kane???
You don’t like it? I actually think that is a sneaky captain. If I had him, I probably go for him.
Nice team!!
Am I set for GW2?
Hey there Mitro! You expecting goals from your lot this weekend? Should be a good, hard-fought relegation 3-pointer! :winktongue:
Team looks good to go! Could be a lot of goals from this crew! GL!
Looks set to me.
You managed to get Silva in before his price rise ? Was thinking about taking Mikki out for him as that was a last minute swap pre deadline in gw1 that i regretted but the price rise has scuppered that !
Zenit lost their Europa League away qualifier 4-0 last week.
Zenit won 4-0 tonight.
Zenit had a man sent off.
Zenit scored SIX goals with ten players.
Zenit won 8-1 after extra time.
Zenit won 8-5 on aggregate.
Good evening.
Hahah one I wish I woulda watched!
Burnley, on the other hand, have now gone 352mins without a single goal…
Someone on Twitter will now make a case for a Burnley attacking player to be bought based on law of averages. 😉
