FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW2
Well, well, well – 82 points scored in GW1 with 37 of those points coming from our 3 playing defenders. Robertson, Shaw and Mendy all performed heroically with bonus points flying all over the place! Richarlison’s brace was also most welcome while Salah chipped in with his customary goal. Firmino provided an assist but with Liverpool scoring four we may have expected more. The rest of our number were 2pt bums, while like many other managers, we left Wan-Bissaka’s 12 points on the bench.
Overall we are delighted with the start, overall rank means nothing at this stage.
Last Week’s Result
What have we done this week?
Like many of you we have decided to sit on our hands this week and roll our transfer over. To be honest this was always the plan and it would have taken a significant injury to one of our players to have forced us into the transfer market. Thankfully we didn’t own KDB! Two transfers next week coupled with the 0.5mln we have stashed in the bank should give us an element of flexibility. We will be paying close attention to both Cairney and King this weekend as neither impressed in GW1.
The Team In Full…
Captain – Sergio Aguero
Unlike last week we were actually forced to take a vote this week. As you can see Aguero came out on top but only just. He carried the vote three votes to two over Mo Salah. Of course there is the chance that Pep will start Jesus over Kun but we believe that to be unlikely and a home game against Huddersfield is too good an opportunity to turn down.

How’s everyone’s teams looking for this week? I was not so keen to sit on my hands like the site team and instead switched Sessegnon to Pereyra with my FT. I’m thinking he has been involved in Watfords last 6 PL goals, scoring 5 and assisting 1. That alone did it for me over Neves who scored 6 in the whole of last season. With Sessegnon potentially being used as LB, I went early this week.
My current team below, how does it look heading into this weekend? Should I be looking at switching Mkhitaryan to either BSilva or Willian? The former looks like going up in price tonight so worth a 4pt hit to take advantage or not?
Mik on b.silva will be a great move
Hey igy, not opposed to moving on from Sess as our fixtures aren’t great and any goals I expect to come from Mitro. But I’d say zero chance of him moving back to LB.
I think you may regret getting rid of Mkhi. Arsenal’s fixtures are very good from GW3.
I suppose you have to balance that against City’s even better run of fixtures.
But for a -4? I’d be inclined to just sit this one out and review next week.
I’ll hold on Mkhitaryan.
I two strikes both are on 11 million aguero and aub don’t know who to transfer out.or should I go for my midfielder mahrez? ??
I wouldn’t transfer either out given their fixtures.
Bit of context would help but why do you have to remove one?
Yes was going to say: maybe tell us who else is in your side. Assuming you have Salah or Mane then there must be some cheaper players in there.
0.5 in the bank and 1 FT
How does Sanchez to Mane look, it also allows me to get Bernardo next week
don’t make a transfer this week hag on on Sanchez then next week u can swap him with mané even bring on silva. Liverpool are going to have a tough game this week can’t guess who is makin points on palace
Makes sense.
How about
Jota -> Bernardo
Sanchez -> Mane
For a -4. This allows me to beat the price rise and also get Bernardo vs Huddersfield or is saving the free transfer still a better option?
If u wanna take a risk for -4 points it’s still fine but bet on it.are Liverpool players going to score more on palace if yes take a risk if no don’t beside Sanchez can get u points
Leave it until next week.
Your team is fine for this week. Just roll and assess next week.
KP
I heard Brighton were awful against Watford. I’d hold Sanchez if I had him.
Hi all, quick question..
Sane, Bilva or Nause a?
FFS, *Mahrez! (Damn autocorrect :))
The one you have in your team not worth a transfer switching
Sane!! Save the transfer!!
You don’t wanna remove sane and watch him start this week. Roll the transfer.
Benny, I think the “nausea” was for those who have to answer all of the “which City mid should I have” questions :winktongue:
In all seriousness, I’d just keep Sane! The only reasoning is that you already have him and it will inevitably save you a -4 somewhere down the road to keep hold of that free transfer!
Just keep Sane. City could and probably will annihilate Huddersfield this weekend. Even if he comes on for 20 mins you could get a couple of goals.
Think that a unanimous “stick” then! Cheers guys, I’ll keep my FT.
Burnley currently 1-0 up in ET. Long game with 90 to go on Sunday! Second string defence, but midfield pretty much the side that faced Soton I think.
3 of the 5 starters were the same in the mids. No Cork or Gudmundsson. Two of the others (Hart and Ward) were the same. So basically 5 of them. Was hoping for more really.
Brought Cork, Gudmundsson and Wood on though. Gudmundsson played an hour!
I’m sure he’ll live. Last time I checked he was a professional athlete. He’d have ordinarily trained for longer today.
‘me and me mates do 5 a side and 11 a side every week, I dunno what’s wrong with ‘um’
I don’t remember them complaining until you started!
What time are the pressers tomorrow
They’re not announced until early doors tomorrow. Howe does his about 4am and then the rest will drip through from about 9am to 3pm. Team News will be up shortly after they finish.
We had these 6 today –
I’m looking forward to hearing what Colin has to say!
I was looking forward to hearing what Hughes had to say and twisting it horrifically but c’est la vie eh Matt, :finger:
Never knew my comments were looked forward to here! 😉
@Colriles, if you gave a presser on fashion it would leave us more informed than the PL pressers do in some cases. 😉
