….the home crowd sang as we suffered another red arrow dropping from 106,713 to 120,867 after scoring 58pts in GW26. At least we beat the average… by 2pts. In fairness to the crowd they are probably frustrated that we sold the goal-scoring Lundstram for Stephens. The dreaded vote of confidence was delivered from the board this week – never a good sign. We were again indebted to our Liverpool defenders, Grealish and Ings to steady the ship while KDB weighed in with 14pts late on. Capo Salah failed, while Vardy and Maddison look horribly out of form but have excellent fixtures on the horizon. Tough decisions will need to be made. Let’s see what the committee decided for this week…

…well frankly they bottled it and saved the free transfer, most likely scared of selling someone who is bound to deliver a brace at the weekend! In all fairness the team looks ok for this weekend (famous last words) so the logic is understandable, although the loyalty to the Leicester boys may prove ill-founded. Two free transfers ahead of BGW28 should also be an advantage.
To confirm then we have HELD our transfer.
Captain – Mo Salah
Mo Salah wears the armband again with the hope that he will destroy West Ham. Just liked we hoped he’d destroy Norwich last week. TAA is the vice-captain.

I am giving the City boys one last chance too before both go next week with the 2 FT. It will be a high scoring game and they should be involved.
Due to very bad few rounds in a row I am going with captain Ings as a deferential. He should match the Salah’s customary goal and hopefully repeat the brace from the reverse fixture two months ago.

No idea whether to just do Jiménez to Aguero or save the FT, I’d like Foster out as well but seems like a waste of a transfer with the blank weeks coming up..

Might sound odd coming from a Jimenez owner but all things being equal, Aguero probably has a higher ceiling for points.

And I know. But my guess is Pep will go out for Champions League. They face Real Madrid, not the easiest opponent. EPL is already done and they will probably finish top 4 with ease. Leicester is an important game but not super.
Also, they will be taken out of the CL for a season or two? When will the date go in? Next CL season or the one after?
