Happy Days…
Up and down we go, this week saw a small green arrow, which simply restores the damage we did last week, which destroyed the good from the week before. You get the picture, basically we are stuck hovering around the 100k mark, 103,391 now to be exact. GW27 saw us end up on 58 points and a rise of about 17k places, which ironically was the exact score we recorded in GW26 which saw us plummet a similar amount. FPL, eh…
As with most people this week we had to wait until Liverpool played on Monday to fill our points bag, which probably made little difference really, but for the record our trio brought us 28, which was just shy of 50% of our total. Elsewhere Pope and Stephens returned clean-sheets, meaning all of our backline brought us something positive this week, combining for 15. Jimenez got us a goal. The rest (KDB, Maddison, Grealish, Ings and Vardy) did sweet FA between them.

Our GW28 Transfer(s)
We must have planned this blank GW out well because when we first reviewed our team ahead of this week we did a collective Fonzie! If you’re too young to know what one of those is just google ‘Fonzie & mirror’…
It was so well set in fact (certainly in that it actually contained 11 players…) the first suggestion was to carry our transfer over. But then we noticed we already had two of those bad boys and rather than waste one we looked for some deadwood to sacrifice. Martin Kelly stood out as he’s been injured / has lost his place. The only problem then was that we had just £0.1m in the bank and pickings are slim at that particular end of the Kelly market.
So much so that Taylor of Burnley was the only realistic option. In his favour he actually plays, to his and our detriment it would mean a bit of a double up at the back with our goalie being Pope. But that may be no bad thing given their fixtures and recent defensive resurgence. What swung it though was that he definitely has a fixture in the loomingly large blank GW31. Now, we may decide to use our Free Hit for that one but we may as well prepare regardless in case we decide not to.
To confirm then we have SOLD Martin Kelly and BOUGHT Charlie Taylor
Captain – Mo Salah
‘If it’s not broke don’t fix it’. That was the main argument in favour of sticking with Salah this week. That and Watford. For the record Vardy did also garner a vote and Ings got an honourable mention as a potential Vice Captain. Vardy will wear the latter should something befall Salah.

I was dead cert on getting rid of KDB earlier in the week but I have no idea now.
I have 2 FTs – what would you do with this lot?
Grealish to Barnes?
And / or Mahrez to Fernandes. Just watched 10 mins of the Utd game and I’m sold, the guys an absolute live wire, he’ll be involved in all sorts.

I was holding this week but I might have another look…
I was going to get Richarlison myself but I may have changed my mind now…
I’m thinking of holding off (Man U players) until the dust has settled after GW30.
Man U’s fixtures look pretty good after then and there should be a hot finale in the race for 4th.
I understand why Kralin but at the same time special players can do anyone at times and it’s not like City or Spurs are impregnable.
I know and I’ve been rambling on about Richarlison in a similar way.
I daresay he (F) has very low ownership and Man U are in good form.
Another Liverpool player may not be the worst idea. KdB to Mane, perhaps.
Am i miscounting? But KDB Mahrez Grealish Lundy Saka Auba are out for GW28 and Rico and Kelly won’t get game time. Do you have FH available Bees ?

Hi all, Martial injury leaves me with a headache now. So am thinking either
A) Fernandes
B) Richarlison
C) Maddison
D) Barnes
Have 1 ft and 2.4 in the bank. Call it peeps! What do you think is best as a set and forget for now. This spot in my team seems jinxed as I had Son in that spot before and he got crocked.

Ouch I already did Auba to Vardy to get 11 for this week. Do you think Martial to Bruno is needed for -4 now
I’ve just seen the United highlights and Fernandes was on another level. Taking pops on goal, lovely interplay. On pens too.
I get the love but a game versus an in-formish Everton then Man City makes him, for me anyway, one for the near future maybe. I did have a furtive look at his price earlier just in case he was 4.5m.
Having said all that and outside fantasy I hope he inspires United to give City a sound thrashing.
Cheers Kralin. I think given how he’s performed I’m likely to go for him. I’m also tempted to do grealish out to a Leicester mid for a minus 4……we shall see
If you do that then presumably you’re giving yourself a selection headache. I’d keep things nice and simple.
I have however not the slightest idea how long Martial is out for.
I think I’ll let the market decide. If I’m going to lose money on Martial or I wouldn’t be able to afford Ferna on a price rise then I’ll move otherwise I’ll uncomfortably stick
