Bend over for Callum Wilson
We had a decent GW36 in the end, having belatedly played our Bench Boost, and we ended up with 114 points; 45 above the average and a rank rise of over 5k to land in 7,129th place. The question over the piece though was really just whether we would have been better sticking with the original plan of BB’ing in GW35 and TC’ing in GW36. Surely none of our committee would be anal / bothered enough to go and check?! Well, apparently… oh yes they bloody well would!
Apparently then, had we BB’d in 36 we would have got an extra 16 points (allowing for the (then) proposed transfer of Callum Wilson in and accounting for no TC points). This week we would have gained 19 from the Salah TC, lost the 14 on the bench and gained the exact same back from having Callum Wilson.
All in all then we lost 35 points. Now of course surely none of our committee would be anal / bothered enough to go and check what that translates to in lost rank would they?! Of course they would! Apparently…. an extra 35 points would see us at approximately 2,589th.
Onwards and upwards and all that though. We had 1FT and zero in the bank, let’s go see what the committee decided to do this week…

Our Transfer decision for GW37
It came down to a straight choice between simply doing nothing, which was the early favourite, or taking a chance that Man United may decide to pluck up their ideas for the last two and take the opportunity that the fixture scheduling has kindly handed them. As it turned out a late ‘Pogba for Son’ shout won the vote. With Lukaku seemingly out (or strugglimg at best) it may be that Ole is forced to go back to the youthful and pacey front three which served him and them so well early on in his tenure. This also seems to suit Pogba too and so we are hoping he can turn it on a couple more times this season. Or failing that, that they get a couple of penalties again!
Our Captain for GW37 is Sergio Aguero.
New recruit Pogba did get a vote but it wasn’t enough to stop Aguero and his title pursuit getting our armband for the Monday night Late, Late Show.

Guys is it me or are the transfer decisions especially difficult this week?

Son to Pogba
And jwp to romeu to make up the money.

Could work. It’s all a bit ‘Mitro’ but who knows. Personally I’d probably just do Erik to Pogba.
That’s the safe option anyway, depends if you have any ML stuff ridding on it. If not and it’s just ‘fun time’ then go for it.
I’m tenth in ml now, after winning it two years running, so I don’t really have much to lose at this stage. I’ve taken far too many hits this season. Lesson learned for next season I think. Lol.
Go for your plan with the hit then. I’d ideally want both of those this week so you may as well just do it and have some fun!

Hi guys as we come to the end of the season I’m trailing my ml by 17 points. Please can I have some advice because I’m over thinking everything. I need to outsmart him or think of something so I can gain these points!!
My team is the 1 wiv Salah his is not. Any help I’d much appreciate! I’m thinking of cappin Salah again by the way. As at the moment he does not have him. I need to gain and win this mini league!!! I’ve come close so many years lol
I reckon you can do this Jumpers, it may take some steel not to overthink it though and just play simple, for this week at least. Salah takes the load here really. Capo him for starters. I wouldn’t give the rest a whole lot of thought really, unless there’s something obvious available. I’m guessing he’ll go Mane or Kun but you have both half covered anyway. Salah is your key.
Any money ITB? And is it just 1FT?

Him blocking Salah crossed my mind but does he have the money / free transfers to do so without a hit? If he has to hit to do so then we are down to 13 to begin with anyway.
One option for you could be Lloris to DDG. The alternative is to sit on it and go at next week with more flexibility and the 2 FT’s. I’d probably do the latter, see where Salah gets you this week and then with 2 you could heave a Hail Mary or two in hope next week if it’s still required.

Please do, I’ll be looking out for you to see how it pans out. I’m in a similar situation with 19 to chase so I do empathise! Really does feel like ‘how’s your luck’ this week as the capo vs his moves will be pivotal. Having 2 next week with a clear picture / goal could be gold.
All things being equal, would you prefer a) Son + Hazard OR b) Eriksen + Pogba for the last 2 GWs?
I can’t trust United just now and I think Eriksen is looking jaded so I’d fall into the Son/Hazard one.

Rival doesn’t have mane or hazard and I think he will go with sterling or salah!

With Aguero and Mane having only the League to go for I think I’d go for either of those first on my TC. Hazard could well be rested up from the start again as they try to win this Europa League tie next Thursday.
I think both these games are about the same level of difficulty for Liverpool and City but with City being at home, I’d go with Aguero I think.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I’ve just read Sarri’s comments . . .
