FF247 FPL Pre Season Hub 2022/23
Welcome to FF247 FPL Pre Season Hub 2022/23
In this season of a first ever winter World Cup, and hence an early start to the domestic football calendars across the European Continent, you could be forgiven for saying ….
“What, Pre Season games? Already?”
Last season only ‘ended’ 35 days ago domestically with the Champions League final in Paris. Still, Liverpool will be back in action a week on Tuesday against Manchester United in a friendly. In Thailand.
When you factor in that most players then had to go represent their country in World Cup, African Nations Cup or Nations League matches, then there truly is no break these days.
More FPL rotation than ever before, anyone? – that’s before you consider we now have 5 subs per team per game now. Ha!
But we at FF247 mirror those highly over paid athletes as we prepare for you our Pre Season Article for the 2022/23 season. As ever, all fixtures are listed below and we have a dedicated comment section for each of the 20 clubs.
We welcome back Nottingham Forest after their 23-year exile from top division football. From Burton to Berlin, they too, are gearing towards the weirdest season ever by getting in the miles on the clock.
Please feel free to post any exciting, useful or FPL related material or information for each team. This is an interactive article as always!
Your FF247 community will deliver you safely to the World Cup break. Nope! Just doesn’t sound right…..

FPL FIXTURE TRACKER
Here’s that all important Fixture Tracker itself…
FIXTURE TRACKER LINK
As for the season itself all you really need to know at this stage is that it begins on Friday August 5th at 8pm (most likely with an FPL deadline of 6.30pm). Which is a week earlier than usual, and that is because we will have a massive mid-season break of about 6 weeks due to the World Cup. The break begins after GW16 on November 14th. We then resume, rather bizzarely and abruptly, on Boxing Day, but that’s a discussion and an issue for another day!

Who scored for Rangers GP? I am giving up Scottish fantasy game, although it was loads of fun and I learnt heaps about the game. Only so much time on my hands and I tend to get very involved in these things! What a shame, but it is for the best!
Two new guys – Tom Lawrence & Rabbi Matondo – and Ryan Kent.
I’m not sure I’ll be playing either matey.
Thanks GP. Might find myself looking at a couple of games though!! The 2 big teams provide a lot of entertainment (ie The Old Firm)!

Haaland not even getting on last night is that not a concern with the season two and a half weeks away?, Pep might ease him in
Guardiola:
“Next game he’ll be ready. He had niggles, we don’t want to take risks, maybe against Bayern, we will see.
“He made two sessions, we don’t want to take risks. The season is so long; we will have time, don’t worry.
“He had some problems last season at Dortmund but we try to handle it; it’s not a big issue.
“We want to take care of them. When we come back we want to be fit; the player has to be fit to be ready. It will come.”
Seems a little concerning but will see if he starts against Munich
Thanks for all your hard work GP! A great place to come back to and still pick the wrong differential
Great hub! Nicely done!
