Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?!
What a week (finally). We finally managed to play Targett and benefitted from him and luckily warded off a late Friday steer towards bringing in Joao Cancelo for a hit. We were close.
We scored 73 points and a cool 25 above average having made only a single transfer, which sadly itself didn’t reap instant rewards with our Kane replacement, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, being hampered by a bit of an all-round disappointing Everton performance.
One of those weeks where all of our defenders returned. Ruben Dias (8, inc. 2 bonus) and Targett (6) with clean sheets and Stuart Dallas (7). The Northern Irishman scoring his side’s equaliser against Leicester. McCarthy in goal got 3.
Gundogan as captain (6) was a bit of a let-down, as was Bruno Fernandes (3) at Arsenal. Jack Grealish with his assist scored us 6 and Mohamed Salah finally returned with 15 points in the Sunday game at West Ham and will no doubt be given the armband this coming week. (spoiler alert?)
That leaves only two strikers to talk about. They got 17 points between them! That’s good but Antonio only supplied two of those so thank goodness for Patrick Bamford (15). What a legend!
A jump of over 260,000 places brings us to 879,770 which we are more than happy with.

Chilwell to Cancelo was proposed, but little else was. Seems that we are fairly happy with our set up for this week, the odd move aside. Looking at Man city’s upcoming fixtures after this week (Liverpool, Spurs, Aresnal, West Ham & Man United) we decided that one of their defenders may be enough.
As such we have decided to hold the transfer and carry two through into the weekend with a luxury bank to match. That should be an interesting team meeting…
To confirm then we have HELD our transfer
Captain – Salah
Bang in form, and explosive to boot, need we say more.
Bruno will wear it if Klopp happens to disagree, which he won’t.

I’ve got a pretty similar team!
But I can’t bench Son can I??
I also have your benching headache as my front 8 is the same as yours. Spurs did look toothless without Kane in their last game. Chelsea also looking better with Tuchel and seem to be more solid. Benching Son just seems wrong, but the other options all look good too.
I wouldn’t bench Son there. It’s a tough one but possibly Antonio. Villa are a tough team to score against these days. Feels like a lose-lose situation to be honest.
Based on yesterday’s performance you can 100% bench Son vs Chelsea!
Nice to hold and have some cash in the bank.
The meeting is going to be interesting indeed. 😯

Have no idea who I would swap Kane for…Gone down in the rankings so would like to make an optimal change (haha…don’t laugh)

It doesn’t seem logical
Jimto drop Son when you’ve got a groaning Kane stretched out in the sick-bay.I would play Son in what hopefully will be a bad-tempered and ugly game versus Chelsea.
I would move Kane on for Watkins or Bamford.

Well, your cup’s not exactly runneth over with choice there Bees.
If you’re determined to move Son on, think Grealish perhaps.
Otherwise maybe just hold the transfer and have 2FT before the next GW – which is soon enough.
Keeping Kane for too long will give your side an untidy look – like you’re hoarding him – and may drive you insane. Your next signing will be Kun, or KdB, and you will then be beyond help.
You are so funny Kralin! I love the hoarding Kane bit. God forbid my team starts to look untidy me being such a neat person. Definitely can’t have that.
