Well what a let down GW36 was! We know we have been on a great run of form and shouldn’t complain but what’s FPL for if we can’t moan when not every single little thing goes in our favour? Don’t answer that!
We scored 33 points which was five points BELOW the average and strange territory in light of our recent returns (only 5 red arrows in 21 weeks) and as a result we dropped down to 229,901 overall.
We aren’t even going to review the team – two clean sheets and an assist – that’s all she wrote …..

Our GW37 Transfer(s)
We talked about dealing with Jota right now, we talked about heaving Lingard (due to his drop in form and not his fixture) but in the end we felt two things:
A) A bit rushed with the early deadline and;
B) That we already have a serviceable team this week
Therefore we set up our side as is and we’ll carry our transfer over and hopefully bring in two players who will do the business on the last day.
Digne v Watkins was voted on and the Frenchman won out.
To confirm then we have SAVED OUR FREE TRANSFER
Captain – BRUNO FERNANDES
This one was somewhat unanimous.
The top scoring player in the game, he’s home to Fulham and he’s had a bit of a rest (in recent relative terms) so we’re backing the Portugeezer here.
Should Ole rest him entirely (don’t panic – no one is saying he might!) then Son at home at home to Aston Villa will pick up the slack.

I am 2 points above number 2 in my mini league (nervy times)
he has Antonio though
Whats the thoughts on my team or should i swap Watkins for Antonio and put him on the pitch (to cover any missed points)

I dont think that raphinha is a very much better pick than nacho. Actually might rather play nacho if i had them both…

I’d make the move personally, Chelsea’s defence has been solid.
Slightly depends on ML situations, but Raphina > Iheanacho for the final 2 weeks in my book.

Afternoon all!
Have a 35 point lead over 2nd, and 40 point lead over 3rd in my ML, £100 on the line if I can hold out next 2 weeks.
1 FT & £4.2m in the bank.
Simple option is Jota to Raphina, easy.
However, I think a tactical play might be in order, due to current team set ups.
We all own Keane, Salah and Jota (so midfield transfers likely, 1FT each).
My strong differentials are Fernandes & Greenwood, and TAA to a lesser extent (one of them has Phillips).
In place, they both own Kane and Son, and think they’re likely to captain Kane to chase. One also owns Lingard, though he’s lost his form.
The question is:
a) should I take a -4 to replace Watkins with Kane to cover potential damage?
b) unlikely a strong shout but Jota to Lingard instead of Raphina safely covers another 2nd place player.
Probably overthinking but Kane’s end of season prowess seems worth hedging against.

I wouldn’t get Lingard for sure I think I would go with Raphina as hit would not be worth it as you are enough points ahead.
Unless kane scores a hat trick 😛

Yeah the Lingard option was a 1% lingering thought.
Jota to Raphina is all but confirmed, but the hit for Kane im 60/40 towards doing it at the moment.
If the fringe players down me, it’s just bad luck, but if Kane scores 6 in 2, it wil hurt a lot more.

Told them both at the weekend I likely wouldn’t have a Spurs player again this season…how things change.
