We did ok last week, nothing spectacular but fairly satisfying. The average was 44. We posted 70. Our GW rank was around the 40k mark. We had hoped that some of our players would perform, we didn’t expect they all would. And some did and some didn’t. That’s the nature of fantasy football. Our midfielders and forwards did on the whole. Our defence stank the place out. But then many peoples did. Quite how Firmino walked away from a 7 goal thriller with just 2 points to his name is anybody’s guess but the rest of the midfield did their bit with a goal each, as did 2 of our 3 forwards. There’s nothing major to change this week then, maybe the odd tweak to be debated. Here’s what we decided on for GW2…
After the shortest chat the committee have ever undertaken, we have decided to hold our transfer for this week. Our captain is Sergio Aguero and vice captain is Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

To justify a 13mil price tag, Aguero needs to score every game and get more then one goal in multiple games. If he doesnt do that, then whats the point in having him when you could have any 9 or 10 mil striker who can compete with scoring every other week.
Dont get me wrong Kun is awesome and I would like to have him, but at the moment I dont see the appeal in crippling my midfield just to have a ridiculously expensive striker who is bringing in the same points as others who cost far less.
The only way I can be proven wrong is if Kun gets at least a brace tonight, otherwise what are you getting for your extra 3mill?
I really want Kun not to perform this season to be hoenst because its jsut boring seeing him in every team. Like every team looks so similar, its boring. Look at my team, is this not mroe fun?
It’s the easy captain decision which I like about Aguero plus the explosiveness of the player
True that, he is a great captain choice anytime I grant that. The same IMO could be said for Zlatan though, sure we havent seen him in the EPL for long, but he never failed anywhere else he went and his stats are crazy even at his age he is still massively on form. I really think Zlatan will be equal to Kun on goals this season, and Kun more likely to get injured.
luke, it’s a defensive manoeuvre. He’s on +40% of teams and given his explosiveness people are afraid to get caught on the wrong foot with him. DDG is also +40% but he’s points will never reach Kun’s so the danger is not there. I have him for several reasons, one being the aforementioned TSB% and the others being he’s a great player, can score any time and plays for a team full of talent. Why wouldn’t you pick him? Sure, he’s expensive but give me another player with his stats over the last 5 years aside from Suarez and Ronaldo? Also, who are those mids that you claim to be able to score like aguero?
If I have Kun and Ibra, my midfield is horrific. With just ZLatan I have a mid of, Sanchez, Hazard, Mahrez, Mane and Redmond. Sure they individually are not going to outscore him all the time but they will however combined get more points IMO then aload of 6.5 mil midefields with Kun.

For me he’s essential if your serious about playing this game,
In fact it makes my game more interesting to shop around for mid priced Mids to accommodate him
You may have a wonderfully expensive midfield without him, but they can fail to deliver on regular basis too,
Nailed starter
Top scorer year on year
Star studded support around him
Hassle free capt material
Easy to downgrade if injured
rather than taking hits to get him when he explodes,

Because Kun can 3+ in a game. FPL gold mate, worth the pricetag!
i am confused between 2 plans
1. Lamela for Fabregas for a FT
2. Martial/Hazard and Carroll for Fabregas and Vardy for -4
Any suggestion regarding the team and cap would be very much appreciated
I’d say it would be a little too early to take a 4 point hit. Fabregas for Lamela sounds good.

Hi K, good to go mate. Personally I’d replace Gray and probably with Carroll but other than that you’re set.
I know what you mean innit, he didn’t impress me massively either but I think I’ll save my FT for next week.
If Hazard scores again this week I’m going to have to seriously start considering how to get him into this team.

Hey guys. Well not a bad start for me last week. 69 points and sitting top of my money league. Anyway, i transfered Shemichael out this week for Vorm, and i think i’m gonna captain Aguero.
