Welcome to the FF247 Site Team Game-week 2 FPL Tips article.
We did ok last week, nothing spectacular but fairly satisfying. The average was 44. We posted 70. Our GW rank was around the 40k mark. We had hoped that some of our players would perform, we didn’t expect they all would. And some did and some didn’t. That’s the nature of fantasy football. Our midfielders and forwards did on the whole. Our defence stank the place out. But then many peoples did. Quite how Firmino walked away from a 7 goal thriller with just 2 points to his name is anybody’s guess but the rest of the midfield did their bit with a goal each, as did 2 of our 3 forwards. There’s nothing major to change this week then, maybe the odd tweak to be debated. Here’s what we decided on for GW2…
After the shortest chat the committee have ever undertaken, we have decided to hold our transfer for this week. Our captain is Sergio Aguero and vice captain is Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Don’t suppose you have any sources on this? Just to put my mind at ease. Haven’t seen too much confidence to say either way from papers etc.
@AT, think is more a gut feel that he will start from the guys. Because I couldn’t find any sources. Will say that when a manager says a defender will be in the squad that’s different than an attacking player. Defenders don’t usually get cameos, either they start or they don’t play at all. Not sure which way to lean on this, think you just have to go with the Everton fan and hope for the best.
Cheers Mito, Ben Dinnery quoted Koeman as saying that Williams was ‘close to making the team’ and that it would be a late decision. Not sure whether that means starting 11 or not though.
AT, as Mito has said, it is very unclear and will have to be a guess on the part of Williams owners. Koeman certainly gave nothing away., apart from the above quote.

Looks likely he will start but its a risk if you what to play say put Friend in the Sun v Mid will be a tight game but If it was me Williams would be in.
Transfer this week is going to be Ayew out, bit bummed that i lost .1 price on him, , but which one of the following should i bring in
Tadic (In GW1 63 touches, 23 passes ,6 chances created, 4 attempts on goal, on set pieces and penalties, scored the game winner at old trafford in 14/15, could be the match winner once again)
Townsend (didn’t get the chance to see him play in GW1 but palace have good fixtures)
Ramierez ( best fixtures out of the 3, good differential, possibility of a goal or at least another assist)

Otherwise Tadic, however can be a bit inconsistant.

Morgan ahead of any of those. Surely. I can see his goal from a corner already. Atm, Arsenal’s defense is as good as aston villa’s was last time out. I don’t have morgan btw.

Swap him for Firminho or Coutino.

I agree with Matt here. You should transfer one of your non playing/starting mids and feghouli seems the obvious choice, if you think Mane will be available next week. If not, swap Mane to Payet, if affordable.

Well done to the site team. 70points! Nicely done! Only thing that’s bugging me is…Amat vs. McAuley. Everton don’t exactly have the most potent attack just yet, and Hull will definitely fancy a go at Amat and co…anyone else bothered? PS: Anyone else bothered by leaving a dream team player on the bench? GW1 I know but…still
I would start Amat & it certainly wouldn’t bother me benching a dream team player 😉
Hmmm…I hope this comes back to bite you. And just to be clear, Amat is playing CB right?
Not sure about Amat or McAuley but I wouldn’t mind not playing a dream team player since most of my bench is a on the dream team so Capoue will stay where he is.
