FF247 Site Team Game-week 7 FPL Tips
Welcome to the FF247 Site Team Game-week 7 FPL Tips article. Can we wildcard every week? Playing our wildcard last week certainly had the desired short-term effect, hopefully it also pays dividends over the coming game-weeks! We picked up 67pts which was 22pts above the average and this saw us jump back up from a rank of 262,127 to 91,692. The standout performers were undoubtedly Sergio Aguero, whom we had captained, and Alexis Sanchez. Elsewhere we had contributions from Petr Cech, Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford. Having brought Etienne Capoue in on our wildcard and more significantly as our 4th midfielder he blanked for just the 2nd time this season. We were not impressed. Yet again we were trolled by Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian had picked up 29pts over the previous two game-weeks but just like Capoue he picked up a whopping 2pts. Our defence let us down but between them they have some decent fixtures over the coming weeks so we should see some returns. Hopefully! On the whole we are happy with how things panned out and we move on with great expectations.

TRANSFER DECISION THIS WEEK
Having just played our wildcard we have perhaps unsurprisingly decided not to make a transfer this week. The only potential transfer we discussed was the possibility of bringing in an Arsenal defender and doubling up ahead of a run of four enticing fixtures. However we were £0.1 short of bringing in either Nacho Monreal or Shkodran Mustafi for Kyle Walker. To be honest not being in a position to make the transfer may turn out to be a bonus as after all Spurs do have the league’s best defence. By not making a transfer this week we will now be in a position where we have 2 FT’s following the international break which is always advantageous.

THE TEAM IN FULL FOR GW7 –
[divider_1px_dashed]
Our captain is Alexis Sanchez and our vice-captain is Sergio Aguero
With three votes Alexis Sanchez was the democratic choice this week. There was a vote for Lukaku but there are suspicions that someone was just trying to be difficult! There was also a ‘late’ vote for Rashford. Given not only his own personal form but also Arsenal’s recent form too it was difficult to look past the Chilean this week. Leading the line with great aplomb and with the likes of Walcott, Ozil & Iwobi all coming into form we see him having plenty of opportunities on Sunday afternoon. It might surprise some of you to hear that a certain Sergio Aguero did not get a single vote this week but it was perhaps felt that as he faces the league’s best defence that this may be the week to overlook him for the armband. This decision could of course leave us with egg on our faces!

Very quick question guys – which 3 DEF to play out of Holebas, Evans, Coleman and Walker? Many thanks!
Coleman, Evans and Holebas for me.
+1
Hi all, after a terrible GW last week its wildcard time. Could i get some thoughts on this WC team?
0.0 ITB afterwards if I go with this line up.
Thanks for any help!
special
Would you be between Rondon and Capoue for sub depending on the fixture?
If that is the plan then I like it.
hi K,
what a decent midfield
however it givey sou a bit unbalanced team.. i miss a premium defender/keeper and a better striker… Mané to Lallana and upgrade Rondón perhaps..
and also i’m not convinced on the defense of Soton.
but it’s just my thoughts
Have Capoue n Deeney in my playing 11 and no utd player. Have 1 FT. Should I consider doing Deeney -> Rashford? Or hang on to the transfer???
Sid
To be honest, I’m not sure how Mourinho will treat Rashford for the two bigger games coming up after Stoke. I’m not saying he WILL be dropped, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Mourinho went with the more experienced players from the start in those games.
If you fancy him for Stoke and then taking a bit of a risk, then get him.
Ya it’s a risk. What adds to the worry is he played 90 mins in EL as well :/
I’ve gone with Kolarov for Baines..
hi guys rmt plz
foster
walker coleman smith
walcott(c) firminho antonio capoue
aguero(vc) lukaku janssen
bench: jakupovic fletcher zuniga amat
i just did de bruyne>walcott
any advices for this gw?
Any advices for my next moves?
nauj looks good to go..only issue is that walker and smith contradict aguero and capoue. but, you don’t have many options there. who knows, spurs might even be able to hold City(which is high unlikely).
Not convinced by Wallnuts as captain but could work
who shld i captain then?
This might be a strange way of approaching the pick but if you look at the goals scored by your candidates team according to whether that’s home or away and also then the goals conceded by the opponent likewise then Liverpool actually comes out on top this week out of those who I’d consider as your main options. Those being Walcott, Aguero, Firmino and Lukaku.
Everton +5, Palace -4
Burnley -2, Arsenal +7
Spurs -1, City +9
Swansea -7, Liverpool +7
City have scored the most but their opponents are the tightest. Liverpool have the best mix.
That said you could just list the players and ask yourself who you’d put a tenner on as most likely to score and the answer would be Aguero.
thnks for this analysis, this will be helpfull for my deadline cap choice.. 😉
If your gut instinct was Wally then I’d perhaps stick with it. Clearly in form. Then again Kun has scored 8 in his last 6 v Spurs. Then again Swansea are struggling a bit and Liverpool are flying. And then there’s Lukaku… Good luck
lallana for antonio worth a hit?
Not for me
vaskarch..give antonio some time till GW11
