Crash bang wallop!

Well, that was a fun way to start the game week! With many engaged managers falling foul of the Man City leaked team sheet (that Haaland and Foden were benched) and the subsequent crash of the FPL website, we sat back safe in the knowledge that we made our moves the day earlier. As it is, the moves we made would have no doubt been the exact moves we would have made had we waited on the aforementioned leak, so for us, it was a case of no harm no foul. Our previous days’ moves of Salah and Foden to Almiron (8pts) and KDB (7pts) looked inspired come Saturday evening, our armband remained on Haaland who thankfully came off the bench to (just) tuck away his last-minute game-winning penalty. Phew. Few could have predicted that come Sunday it would all become much of a muchness. Salah put 2 past Spurs for a 15pt return, coupled with a 1pt cameo from Foden and we found ourselves 1pt down on our moves. We’ll take it.

Elsewhere it was a mixed bag, Cancelo (-2pts) and Dalot (0pts) were way below expected, but Ward (6pts) and Trippier (12pts) made our defensive returns look halfway decent. Jesus (2pts) again flattered to deceive but fortunately his teammate Saka (5pts) got us something this week. With Mitrovic not making the Fulham squad, we benefitted from teammate Andreas (6pts) off our bench and we finished up on 57pts for the game week.

Our final score was 4pts above the average (53pts) but sadly that was not enough to prevent a small red arrow, dropping us from 1,018,091 down to 1,029,813. An 11k drop in rank is hardly the stuff of nightmares, and given how some managers were affected we’ll count ourselves very fortunate and move on with a shrug of the shoulders.

Our GW15 Result…

We have £2.9m in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW16. Let’s go see what was decided.

Our GW16 Transfer(s)

We kept it nice and simple this week. With Mitrovic yellow flagged and rumoured to be out once more we decided to move him on. We had plenty in the bank so we had a plethora of options. Liverpool faces a Southampton side who sit third from bottom, fresh off the back of a 4-1 home defeat, a manager sacking and a new manager who few have heard of, they seem to be a good (bad) team to target. Darwin Nunez (£8.9m) was suggested and unanimously endorsed by the team and we now hope he does his talking with his feet and not his head in the final game week before the World Cup break.

To confirm then we have SOLD Aleksandar Mitrovic and BOUGHT Darwin Nunez

Captain – We’re backing the Norwegian Meat Shield Erling Haaland to return to the Man City 11 and do the business

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News

Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.

As a quick reminder –

There are two versions of this article.

The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.

The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.

What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? Well, firstly, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news then they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.

As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up to date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.

Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.

You can access our live feed to these here.

Oh it’s that annoying thing where it doesn’t show the flags sometimes if you don’t logout and back in.
    Thanks

Gracious me! Transferred Salah out to get KDB whom I captained. Would have captained Salah otherwise. On top of that took a hit to get Wilson who obtained only 1 PT!
