And so the first huge(ish) double came to pass with City doing the business on Thursday to follow up a disappointing loss in the Manchester derby. Whether you landed on the correct (or an acceptable) combination of their assets is another matter. Us? We had Ake (2) and Haaland (16) and didn’t even exercise our triple powers.
Elsewhere amongst the doubles, we had Luke Shaw (2) pfft …, Harry Kane (7) meh …, Marcus Rashford (12) hmmmm ….
Oh and Kepa got 10. Wait! He wasn’t on a double? What a man!
Sir Kieran of Trippier with his standard three bonus points and his standarder clean sheet, meant for the usual 9 points (obviously).
69 points and ten above the average. Not a disaster but definite room for improvement.
Your author fancied Haaland for the Triple Captain whilst the rest didn’t. Time will tell if he has the bragging rights….

With our team in good condition on paper, save for United playing Arsenal which takes up four of our players (we’ll hope for a high scoring one!), we see no reason to rush a transfer this week and instead will save it and await the potential Double Gameweek Announcements before the next deadline.

Home to Wolves and scoring even when not looking his best, he’ll still do for us. Kane for Spurs at Fulham will do as vice.

I’d go cheeky and put in Fergo in place of maybe Martinelli! If he doesn’t play, then you just get Marto as a sub! Then again, if you look at my OR you wouldn’t be taking advice from me!

I know its not the best moves, but going to do:
Martial & Mitro->Kane and Greenwood, and go either 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 depending on fixtures.
Despite not scoring much, need to get Kane in now, without sacrificing KdB.
Wise move?

chatting to other people who are looking at getting Kane (who are just above me in the ff league)
If they get him and he scores, they move ahead…. need to match them..lol
I am also level on points with someone who has Kane as well. He was miles behind me at one stage. Maybe I am panicking, but was considering getting him anyway… why wait. Jump on the bandwagon now

If u want kane, get rid of kdb who is hardly doing anything for his price.
Wouldn’t get Greenwood when forwards are firing this year.
Dont see need to sell mitrovic either.
Can just do martial to toney or get kane and downgrade kdb to mahrez.
Reg – my only concern with selling KdB is, he was rested against Spurs, so could do well against a not so good Wolves side. Plus, will Mahrez start (even if he did well against Spurs?
Alternative is ditch Martial and Kulu for Kane and and a 5.2m midfielder
No guarantee with Pep but it does seem Mahrez is the form player now. The alternative u mentioned sounds decent. Can get someone like mitoma for 5m.
I know its not ideal, but going to ditch Mitro and Martial. (i know I keep changing my mind).
Kulu is the differential with the other ff teams around me at the moment. Others dont have him, so need to be slightly different.
If Kdb doesnt perform at the weekend, I will ditch and spread the funds to get that elusive 3rd striker.

I want to change Dalot to a City defender. Now that Dias got some minutes as well last night, who is most likely to play every matches (even in the dgw) for city?

Didn’t think I would say this but, City have 1 CS in the last 10 games, do you feel you deffo need city defensive cover? Maybe swap Dalot to a different UTD cover?

You could double up Newcastle with Botman per Gallants suggestion or Swap Dalot for Shaw/AWB
Dalot to Shaw seems the most straight forward move. If u must have City, then my best guess is Akanji..
