FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 27

Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 27

In a week where wildcards were wildly used – and we took the bait and also went with the revamp – to have 53 points overall seems like a victory of sorts. That’s 10 whole points above the weekly average and moves us in an upwardly mobile direction to 431,164.

We got lucky with the goalkeeper as Kepa (6) came on for the no-show Sanchez so we’re happy with that and the Sanchez issue will be dealt with later. Tyrone Mings carried a defence (ours) for once and landed 8 points in Villa’s home win over Palace. Zinchenko and Mee (not I) brought a solitary point each to the table. Thanks lads.

Kaoru Mitoma (13) carried a midfield of Arsenal and Manchester United players of 2 points as well so absolutely a week for unsung heroes.

Ivan Toney and Erling Haaland both scored 8 points for us – although with Haaland being our captain (and getting booked), undoubtedly Ivan wasn’t the Terrible in the duo this week.

For our Spurs player, read “Arsenal and Manchester United”.

Our Gameweek 26 Result

We have £3.1 in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of Gameweek 27. Let’s go see what was decided.

Our Gameweek 27 Transfer(s)

Like so many others we were stunned, shocked, astounded etc. by the decision of Roberto de Zerbi of Brighton to bring Luke Steele into Premier League action this past weekend which left us with Sanchez being a big issue ahead of the Double Gameweek, then underpinned by the manager’s comments on how Steele is “ahead” of Sanchez in his style.

We move quickly and ruthlessly here at FF247 Towers and with a clear remaining doubt on the Spaniard, we bring in his countryman at Brentford – David Raya – who we know* will play every minute for Brentford.

To confirm then we have SOLD ROBERT SANCHEZ and BOUGHT DAVID RAYA

Captain – IVAN TONEY

The captaincy this week was always going on a DGW player and it came down to a straight vote between Mitoma and Toney. Perhaps the penalties swung it in the favour of the Brentford man, in any event he wears the (C).

Mitoma comes in if there are any late dramas.

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News

Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.

As a quick reminder –

There are two versions of this article.

The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc.

The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.

You can access our live feed to these here.

Really wanted to go Mitoma. Should I be worried about the Leeds match been called off?

Only decisions I guess are Foden or Martinelli & Saliba or Trippier?
