Our GW31 Result…
This can be a strange game at times. One look at our GW31 team will tell you that two players scored well, those being Captain Haaland (24) and Watkins (16). So that’s 60% of our 66 points accounted for. From two very popularly owned players. And yet we still got a green arrow. Our 6th in a row in fact! On that point we now sit at 115,063rd overall. It is slow progress but it is progress none-the-less, and is in fact yet another highest rank for us this season.
As for the rest we got a cleanie from Mings again, an assist from Martinelli, and an unprobable 6 points from Kepa, sans a cleanie and having conceded two goals, which probably tells you everything you need to know about how Chelsea’s season is faring! The other six got 9 points between the sorry lot of them.
We have £0.3m in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW32. Let’s go see what was decided….

With Free Hit FOMO very much a thing, we had to at least consider using our last chip. However, with 9 players already for this week it seemed a waste and we quickly decided to save it for DGW34. There are many different ways to skin a cat, I’m not sure why you would want to skin a cat, but I digress.
So with that decision made, the next decision was how many transfers we should make, a -4 seemed optimal, taking us to a full 11, then came the ‘who’. With Mo Salah looking likely to be the captain for many, he seems prudent, sadly it involves selling both Haaland and Fernandes, but with our FH in GW34 we hope to make some points back that week, even if we miss out this week and next. With money no object for our Haaland replacement, we opted for Gabriel Jesus. Arsenal have arguably the best fixture this week and having just 2 Gunners seemed risky. So there you go! Who said this game was complicated eh?
To confirm then we have SOLD Haaland and Fernades and BOUGHT Salah and Jesus

Is it worth doing Maddison->Salah and Haaland->Jesus.
Will leave me 1.6m ITB
Will give me 11 players, but means I will need to re-jig things to get Haaland back after GW34.

Similar option for me. I am very tempted as scared of what Salah could do this week.

Willing to sacrifice Maddison, as he hasnt really done much lately. Wolves will be a tough test for the Foxes.
After Salah’s haul the other day, Pool players I feel are a need this week.
Haaland can work his way in somehow, as I know a FH or 2 in my ML will have him

Why not Kane + McAlister out for Salah + somebody else?
Then you just need one trade to get back your BHA midfielder next week and you don’t lose Haaland. Just a thought.
AJW mate – that leaves me with 6.7m for a striker – thoughts as to who would play this week – who is decent enough?
Solanke is cheap and has WHU, SOU and LEE up next
yeah, nice in theory – just concerned not having Kane when most others will.

Can’t afford it unfortunately, 0.1 off and would mean 4 Arsenal players…which I wouldn’t mind but FPL has an issue with it

How’s this fh team. My only concerns are is moreno a good pick I’m not convinced they will keep a clean sheet, althoigh i guess im picking him for attacking returns really. is there a better pick that’s not ars or liv? Castagne? Should I be going toney over solanke? Still have 5.1m itb
