Our GW31 Result…
This can be a strange game at times. One look at our GW31 team will tell you that two players scored well, those being Captain Haaland (24) and Watkins (16). So that’s 60% of our 66 points accounted for. From two very popularly owned players. And yet we still got a green arrow. Our 6th in a row in fact! On that point we now sit at 115,063rd overall. It is slow progress but it is progress none-the-less, and is in fact yet another highest rank for us this season.

As for the rest we got a cleanie from Mings again, an assist from Martinelli, and an unprobable 6 points from Kepa, sans a cleanie and having conceded two goals, which probably tells you everything you need to know about how Chelsea’s season is faring! The other six got 9 points between the sorry lot of them.

We have £0.3m in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW32. Let’s go see what was decided….

With Free Hit FOMO very much a thing, we had to at least consider using our last chip. However, with 9 players already for this week it seemed a waste and we quickly decided to save it for DGW34. There are many different ways to skin a cat, I’m not sure why you would want to skin a cat, but I digress.

So with that decision made, the next decision was how many transfers we should make, a -4 seemed optimal, taking us to a full 11, then came the ‘who’. With Mo Salah looking likely to be the captain for many, he seems prudent, sadly it involves selling both Haaland and Fernandes, but with our FH in GW34 we hope to make some points back that week, even if we miss out this week and next. With money no object for our Haaland replacement, we opted for Gabriel Jesus. Arsenal have arguably the best fixture this week and having just 2 Gunners seemed risky. So there you go! Who said this game was complicated eh?

To confirm then we have SOLD Haaland and Fernades and BOUGHT Salah and Jesus
