Welcome to FPL is live 2020/21
It’s time to set your team up, re-join leagues and get tinkering! Although it’s worth noting that the actual Premier League fixtures are still to be released and likely won’t be until after the Champions League and Europa League have completed.
For FPL the biggest change appears to be the deadline changing to 90mins before kick-off – seemingly in an attempt to combat those annoying and often false team leaks.
The Chips have remained the same as has the budget of 100mln.
The biggest changes seem to have come in player prices and in some cases, classification. Some of the more obvious changes at first glance are:
Players now classed as midfielders:
Aubameyang (Arsenal) – price 12.0mln
Greenwood (Man Utd) – price 7.5mln
Rashford (Man Utd) – price 9.5mln
Lundstram (Sheff Utd) – price 5.5mln
Players now classed as forwards:
Richarlison (Everton) – price 8.0mln
Martial (Man Utd) – price 9.0mln
Antonio (West Ham) – price 6.5mln
New players:
Midfielders:
Ziyech (Chelsea) – price 8.0mln
Forwards:
Werner (Chelsea) – price 9.5mln

I can see why. He’s always there or there about a for top scorer in league. As a midfielder he will get more points. If he was last year he would have finished 3rd overall. A lot depends on Arsenal fixtures for me as 12 million is a lot for an Arsenal player who I guess will finish around 6th

Trust me not easy leaving Salah out and of course may still change but like Smash said. Aub scores alot and as a midfielder thats more points. Also like Smash said will depend on fixtures.

McCarthy,as I think Saints should be decent this season as they finished the last season well. That will give them confidence but they have lost Hojberg to Spurs and someone else is in for Cbafemi. Its a lottery to start anyway and I usually wildcard by GW3.

I’m not sure. Ryan currently, maybe McCarthy Saints looked decent at the end of the season. I’m certainly keeping an eye on Martinez at Arsenal. He was really good I’d love him to go to Chelsea. Seems a bit good to be back up for Leno

Is Leno fit to start the season with Arsenal?
Yes Martinez is superb but doubt with his loyalty to Arsenal he’ll switch to a rival club.

Chelsea and Arsenal isn’t that hostile. Certainly not between the clubs.

There will be quite a few auto complete teams but there are a few players with high ownership:
3 players stand out KDB 62%, TAA 56% and Fernandes 42%. All 3 look essential
After that Werner 36%, Pope 34% and Martial 32%. There are some risk with Werner, but he seems good value. I like Martial, but is Jimenez better value?

Haven’t seen Hakim in a lot of drafts. I personally rate him very highly and will try to fit him in my GW1 squad. He is priced nicely at 8M and is a potential bargain.

Yeah he’s a good player with a very nice price. double Chelsea Might be a bit much though. Possibly though if it’s a soft run
