We have 16 games in total this week spanning from Saturday until Thursday with (televised) games on 5 of the next 6 days with only Monday left to take a breather (aka a quick run to the supermarket to replen on crisps and beer, and maybe also say a quick hello to the family, maybe…).
We have some strange game times too with Saturday beginning at 3pm and ending up with an 7.45pm’er.
Sunday is more normal with the usual raft of 2pm games followed by a tea-time one.
Tuesday sees just the one, Wednesday is the busiest midweek affair with four before the NLD sees us out on Thursday.
We do then get a slight break as the GW37 deadline is not until Sunday morning.

Wow wow wow…After a very disappointing start to this GW I am very please after today’s matches and I don’t even have KdB. Still have Son to play as well.
Just checked my scores and I am just over the moon at cappo KDB’s contribution! Hope you are all well too. Gonna crack a nice Belgian beer in the next few days and probably have answered my own question of whether he stays for the last 2 rounds! Makes up for all those captain fails throughout the year!

No worries guys – but my – 12 had me panicking. Brought in N’Ketiah (for Pukki) at the last minute, but his points haul (compared to Pukki’s) paid for the hit, so I was pretty lucky. KDB played really well in the first game and wasn’t rewarded with FPL points, so I was really hoping. But anyway, I’ve made so many points hits this year & so many ordinary captain choices,, so it’s nice to have something. See how it goes tonight. Cheers! 😉
De Bruyne has absolutely killed it! Anyone who capped him have played a blinder, bold move!
Owning itself has been a great differential pick for me! Can’t wait to see him & Haaland in one team
Is KdB a must in next weeks FH if you are using it?
City looked unstoppable at times tonight. They could and should have scored 8 or 9! Go for it
Need to try and fit him, Salah, TAA and Son into a FH team, and have dgw players in.. Gonna be tricky. Watch this space….lol
btw – hope he doesnt do the same against the Hammers on sunday!!
I’m tempted to ditch Salah for Diaz (I’m also on a free hit) depending on how the FA cup final goes. Salah hasn’t played well for a while.

Careful though HF. I started off with a great FH team (started on Sunday), but forgot that when you lock in players, you instantly lose their accumulated value, when you take them out – and if you want to slot them back in again, then your TV gets lower and lower (a rookie mistake that I make all the time, goddamnit!!!) – I nearly priced myself out of a decent team. As it is, I’ve had to keep just Robbo and cannot fit TAA back in, but have managed to salvage KDB, Salah, Son, Richarlison, Watkins & Ings -but backline is quite limited (Digne, Robbo, N Clyne + Johnson + Tsimikas). I’m so dumb and I’m now really scared for my team, but it should be okay. See yah! 😉

You’re a wise man HF – I forget each time! Oh well, team will be okay I think, if I don’t tinker with it anymore in live mode (esp with those long-term acquisitions such as Salah!). Guess I’ll get by. As stands is:
Pickford
Robbo – Digne – Clyne (yuck – only works if Palace get a CS or 2)
Salah – KDB – Son – Zaha (now that’s more like it!)
Ings – Richarlison – Watkins (maybe he’ll go if likely injured!)
Bench: Begovic – McArthur – Johnson (WHU) – Tsimikas
Hahaha – let’s hope there’s no need for replacements! (McArthur in a pinch!). What a silly boy am I!!! Oh well, it reverts to normal for GW 38! 😉

Hands down, I think yours is superior because of the possibility for 5 in the middle, or 4 at the back. as well as the obvious 2 up top. You’ve probably got more depth than me. You’ll see after the FA Cup which Liverpool mid you can definitely put in (I guess either Diaz or Jota). But very nice Hammerfan. Just one question, no Bowen???
Haha, that was a slightly ironic comment. Seriously it’s a really good team that should provide you with loads of goals (let’s touch wood!). Go for it HF – but wait, as you said!

Thanks AJW – appreciate your comment – but might have to tweak my team to accommodate Kane now, at the expense of KdB.
The link between Son/Kane is special (annoyingly) and between them they get you points. Kdb is the sacrifice.
As you say, the FA cup will decide which Pool midfield to go with (or can afford!!)
I do want Bowen, but would have to leave him for the final gw38.
Hmmm the sirens of a big haul from White Hart! I’ve only got room for one Spur. Probably going to have to get Kane back for 38. At least I went up by 50k spots even after Spurs put the cleaners through their neighbours. Anyway we’ll see what round 37 brings us, and there’s also the excitement of a good FA Cup final beforehand. Lovely!

I need Son/Kane to get back in the race for a Top 3 spot. Others dont have a FH. 2nd spot has both of them and Kulu, and a BB left. 3rd only has Son, so that is a possibility.
The FA cup is the decider on a Pool player and who. Plus whether Watkins plays, and what other dgw players I can squeeze in with TAA.
Just go for it HF! I did take a silly 12 pt hit, so that dragged it down a bit. If you’d captained KDB then you would have had over 160 pts ! Let’s enjoy the anticipation leading up to GW 37. See you round!
Any help on what to do with this for GW37 please. Zaha seems to have a lot of support but he’s burnt me in the past. 1FT 0.6itb
Havertz has played 1 minute in the last 2 games (argh). Lukaku has 3 goals in 2 games. The tide has turned!
I’d ditch Havertz for Zaha. But perhaps see how the FA cup final goes first. Deadline for GW37 isn’t until Sunday.
I would actually get Zaha for Havertz. Way more nailed i think.

Coutinho for Saka is the only move I’d consider given Newcastle has been a good team for a while now. Rest looks good, ofcourse contingent on the FA Cup final lineup for Pool, I like the Jota pick.
