Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 3

Another gameweek in the books and another on the cards. As Gameweek 3 starts we are sitting here dreaming of how we are going to fit a certain Portuguese superstar into our teams. Still, let us leave that struggle for another day and turn our attention to the task at hand, which is scoring well this week. The gameweek gets started with City laying waste to Arsenal in the early game. That is followed by five 3pm kick-offs. Villa take on Brentford, Brighton play host to Everton, Toon welcome in Southampton, Norwich battle it out with Leicester and hopefully The Hammers take apart Palace. The day is not done yet though, as the Premier League have left their best game for last when Liverpool play host to Chelsea as both teams will be looking to send an early message to one another.

Sunday brings us the remaining three fixtures. There are two games scheduled for a 2pm start. Burnley tangle with Leeds and Kane pretends he is happy to be at Spurs when they play Watford. The gameweek is brought to a close with Traore trying to finally put away a chance, this time against Manchester United and (the soon to be defunct) ‘Pen’andes.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 3 from all at FF247!

Since I got into the FPL scene, about 12 years ago, I’ve been a ManU fan. Watched the match today & was not bothered by their bad play, but by the fact that they didn’t appear to care about the quality of their play. I guess I have been spoiled by past teams.
I wonder if the addition of Ronaldo will make any difference? Will Bruno be an assist maker & what effect will it have on Greenwood. It’ good to have the down time to ponder these thoughts before making any decisions. Just bitching abit to clear my head.

Kind of agree with you Mosc – was quite baffling to watch, wasn’t it? Lacked a bit of punch or ‘engagement’ on the part of the ‘You ‘n I Ted’ players . Maybe they are going to become a bit like City, with players to be alternated, and others playing support roles. Best to watch what happens – although Varane was a real boon to their defence!
Will be keeping Bruno and De Gea (yeah I was a smart alec, but he hasn’t been an amazing acquisition yet – waiting for the defence to gel and then should be assured of a few cleanies….until Hendo recovers! Cheerio and hope you are well. smile

Yeah poor performance but they got the result. Ddg won them the match with that double save
I think Greenwood continues even with ronaldo bcoz his form is red hot. Unless sancho can quickly get to his Bundesliga form manu actually have too many attacking choices

    Morning

How did everyone get on over the weekend?

Finished on 66 points – total points 212.

Was planning to activate my WC earlier in the week but I don’t think I need to.

My main issue is Barnes and potentially Ings. I do have 2.3 ITB.

I have a lot to ponder over the IB!
