Welcome back to FPL and if you are one of these shut-down-completely types who has spent the time between the end of Gameweek 3 and this deadline up a mountain with no internet or civilisation, you haven’t missed an awful lot (pffft)! Just tell me you made your transfers or pressed the confirm button correctly? No? You could be in for a rough one then.
Anyway, the fixtures themselves have us off to the capital this lunchtime for a South meets North affair as Palace host Spurs at Selhurst Park.
At 3pm – in a continuing glorious and welcome return of normality – we have count ’em SIX matches on offer. Those who have the luxury of watching matches at this time, we guess you may have your eyes fully on Old Trafford as the world watches how Newcastle will line up without Callum Wilson. United v United, Red v Black and White.
Arsenal and Norwich square off in what already looks like a six-pointer (jokes) and there are matches at Southampton, as they welcome West Ham United, and Watford who host Wolves. Meanwhile two Cities collide at the KP where Leicester and Manchester renew rivalries with the Foxes sharing the most recent fortune in their meetings.
Lastly, it is ironic how two teams who play football on the ground sounds like the airborne battle of the weekend as the Bees play the Seagulls. Brentford v Brighton is also a phonetic dream.
At dinner time (winks), Chelsea and Rom go after the (Argentine-free) Villains.
Sunday has us waiting until 4.30pm before we can enjoy Leeds v Liverpool (Mark Viduka springs to mind) and until then, I don’t know – talk to your family or something I guess.
MNF is Everton v Burnley and is one for the DCL captainers to pin their Gameweek 4 hopes on.

A bit early, but I have the exact cash for Antonio & Dier to Lukaku & Williams (bench anyway). Moves would seem to make sense as both are out of next week? Will wait until it looks like somone will go uo/down.
Surely you will want Antonio back though it’s only one match and those moves are not good for long term structure but I guess you could wildcard out of it
Yeah antonio can be kept but not so sure about benrahma anymore.. Looks like he has cooled down though i have higher priority transfers to make
Yes had wanted to ditch Kane to Bamford and use the cash for Ben to Salah. Just leaves me very light next week if Gilmore does not play again.

You dismiss Ronaldo and Salah as options to other people and then end up getting them yourself
Smash, because I am not the biggest fan of Salah doesn’t mean I’ve dismissed him and he ‘s always been in my team. As for Ronaldo, it was a waiting game, like many others did. He scored one more goal than Bruno which doesn’t hurt much. Still, tactically is good to have him.
You do Ivan, there’s no point denying it – it’s just part of your schtick, as it was was with Aguero in the past.
Older hands know it’s just you and your deeply charming ways but you probably need to add some sort of wording with your comments like ‘this is a highly irrational / biased opinion based on subjective analysis’ just to make it clear.
Would hold WC, though Moutinho and Gray are pretty weak. Hard to balance team and hold onto Bruno.
Bees, I’ve tried with Bruno as well and tbh there is not much choice either.
WC would help to balance the team with Chelsea and Spurs players who we’ll all want soon.
Maybe Jota for now and a CHE mid later? Not very clear yet on players, hence best to hold WC.

I would get Lukaku instead because that side looks unbalanced and you have Shaw and Bruno for the looming Villa turkey-shoot.. Man U’s fixtures are pretty rotten compared to Chelsea’s so having Bruno and Ronaldo and Shaw – that’s a lotta dosh – is pushing it a bit.

Have just enough to bring in Ronnie+5.5m mid. Who to pick, Gallagher , Odegaard or anyone else?
I’m not sure a 5.5 mid is sustainable for a longer period. Gallagher is looking good and played well again today but has tough games
Probably would be a short term measure at least for next 2-3 gwks where I could save 2FT and sacrifice Raphinha to get two 6.0 mids. Can’t see much option to fit in 3 premiums.

My options would narrow even more if Bruno goes down and Ronnie goes up. Feels like team value might be really handy this season
