FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 4
FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 4
Welcome back to FPL and if you are one of these shut-down-completely types who has spent the time between the end of Gameweek 3 and this deadline up a mountain with no internet or civilisation, you haven’t missed an awful lot (pffft)! Just tell me you made your transfers or pressed the confirm button correctly? No? You could be in for a rough one then.
Anyway, the fixtures themselves have us off to the capital this lunchtime for a South meets North affair as Palace host Spurs at Selhurst Park.
At 3pm – in a continuing glorious and welcome return of normality – we have count ’em SIX matches on offer. Those who have the luxury of watching matches at this time, we guess you may have your eyes fully on Old Trafford as the world watches how Newcastle will line up without Callum Wilson. United v United, Red v Black and White.
Arsenal and Norwich square off in what already looks like a six-pointer (jokes) and there are matches at Southampton, as they welcome West Ham United, and Watford who host Wolves. Meanwhile two Cities collide at the KP where Leicester and Manchester renew rivalries with the Foxes sharing the most recent fortune in their meetings.
Lastly, it is ironic how two teams who play football on the ground sounds like the airborne battle of the weekend as the Bees play the Seagulls. Brentford v Brighton is also a phonetic dream.
At dinner time (winks), Chelsea and Rom go after the (Argentine-free) Villains.
Sunday has us waiting until 4.30pm before we can enjoy Leeds v Liverpool (Mark Viduka springs to mind) and until then, I don’t know – talk to your family or something I guess.
MNF is Everton v Burnley and is one for the DCL captainers to pin their Gameweek 4 hopes on.
Enjoy!
The games in full…

Moved Antonio out to Dennis, looking to build cash for Lukaku transfer, maybe next week (in time for MCI match).LOL. Maybe Bruno out, depends on how he works with CR7. That will give me Lukaku & a decent MFer (Torres/Jota)? Don’t want to use WC if I don’t have to yet. Just take a hit to accomplish this. Comments welcomed.
Post team?
Team as of now.
Jumped on the WC train and can up with this initial draft.
What do you think?
Hmm, mid is a bit too thin. If going with Luka & Ron, maybe go for a cheapie 3rd forward? Dennis?
+1
That is exactly where I end up if I try to have Luronku up front. And I am not sure I want to give up on Antonio just yet.
Luronku
I thought u misspelled lukaku.
Or lorunku is a cheap 4.5 we don’t know about…
Why not Ronunku?
Depending on how Allan and Gray perform tonight, Coufal+Allan >> Williams+Gray. You will probably get more attacking returns with Gray. Another option is Allan to Gallagher, who was very good on Saturday. Your defence look good enough though to accommodate Williams to warm up the bench.
Thanks for all the advice lads sorry only gettin back now haha
Everton v Burnley
No DCL…. buh byes GW4 and OR
You will need one of CR7/Lukaku
Would you happen to have a time machine at hand?
I wish I had one.
I have 5 points Duffy on the bench so some what getting away with it.
Played a blinder. Got Marcal (13) coming in for DCL.
Must feel very sweet.
Thoughts on this WC team?
No TAA is a problem for me.
Most FPL points this calender year.
1. Bruno – 155
2. TAA – 151
And LFC have good fixtures.
I’m at barebones as it is with the big 3 included. Would Greenwood be enough UTD cover hmmm…
DCL
Hmm, not one of the luckiest transfers in. Yikes. Two thirds of my fearsome front line is now out.
Having said that, I’m sure we’re all about to witness a Brownhill second-half masterclass.
My sympathies Kralin. I’ll have Ayling joining the ranks with a solitary point to even the score at round fitty’
I had such a low opinion he was third on my bench with two players I knew weren’t starting ahead of him.
I foolishly thought that yellow would engender the sort of display we’d be boring our grandchildren with, many years from now.
Drooling with excitement as we stammer out incomprehensible gibberish about 17 points + 3BPS.
