Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 6

‘Saturday at 3 it’s the only place to be!’

We begin with a nice and traditonal 3pm assortment from the Premier League this gameweek – meaning your deadline is 1.30pm (GMT) – and we have three matches getting us underway. The first is a London derby as Crystal Palace welcome Fulham to Selhurst. Then we move north to Luton Town who play only their second ever home Premier League match against the Wolves of Wolverhampton. Further north still, Haaland & Co. sharpen their claws for the visit of the Tricky Trees of Forest.

Brentford v Everton is on at 5.30pm to be followed by an 8pm Saturday night showdown at Turf Moor Burnley – with Manchester United the opposition.

Due to TV and European involvement, Sunday has as many matches as Saturday, with four of those at 2pm. Arsenal and Spurs meet in the first NLD of the season at the Emirates. Brighton and Bournemouth play their own derby – a South Coast if not especially local one. Liverpool meet West Ham at Anfield and Villa go to Chelsea.

The weekend is rounded out by Sheffield United v Newcastle United at 4.30pm.

Just don’t forget that the next Newcastle EPL game is squeezed between playing Man City on Wednesday in the Cup followed by PSG in the UCL the following Wednesday. Expect a lot of rotations.

Well choosing to bring in alvarez over botman worked out well

Wild card is on – I tried to hold off till GW 9 – I really didn’t want newcastle to go nuts and… they went nuts lol

I really want Son but do realize that it would disrupt my whole team if I got him (I couldn’t get him without getting rid of Tripper and Mitoma)

Thoughts would be great – Anyone I should be having on my team. Morris is a 1 week punt and will be downgrading to Archer later.
    Have 0 mil ITB.
The only one I could be missing is united coverage over their good run of fixtures.

Looks to be a solid team. I’m also on a WC and went for Son over Salah as I don’t think you can have both plus Haaland with the rest of the squad looking patchy

Would be a shame to lose Trippier, but you can keep Mitoma and if you want Son as well, this might do it:
      Leno, Trippier, Neto, Morris to
      Turner, Burn, Son, Archer.

        Thanks you 2
Yea Son is gonna be tough – the only thing compelling is him being an explosive player but I would rather get a balanced team than bringing in Son atm.
If he does become essential then I could drop trippier to make room for Son.

Anyone else think doing rashford to son before the price rises is a bad idea? Or should I wait and take the price rise on the chin

If on WC I would get Son.I can see not easy if you have Salah.

I never do this on a Sunday night but with a shoestring budget and the rush on had to replace Chillwell with Botman.
