The last GW before yet another International Break. This one begins on Saturday as Ronaldo Man United welcome Rafa back to Old Trafford for lunch.

We then have four games at 3pm with Norwich taking the long trip up to Burnley, Chelsea looking to rediscover their mojo vs Saints, Leeds hosting Watford and Newcastle going down to Wolves.

Arsenal’s new resolve will then be severely tested by Brighton in the late game.

2pm on Sunday then becomes the new 3pm of a Saturday with three games all at once: Palace welcome Vardy and co, Spurs and Villa play hide & seek with their Argentinian contingent and Brentford make the short trip to West Ham.

Presumably they were all told to clear off early to make way for Sky’s inevitable mammoth build-up to the title decider as Klopp and Pep lock horns once more.

The games in full…

  1. Hello folks,

I am thinking of WCing. What do you think of this? Original team on the right.

    • Hey LRL!
Your team is very similar to mine (only difference being your bench is better and you have Greenwood and Sarr in midfield wheres I have Raphinha and Benrahma). I know how you feel, cause I was very close to WC myself but the wise folk around here advised me to hold off.
I guess it really depends on whether TAA is fully fit but even if he is you can still navigate through with FTs.

    • I can see why you want to WC. I like the new team a lot. Great balance and potential with addition of Son, Dias and Raphina. Looking forward to seeing more of Hwang.
      All the best LRL!

      • Thanks Bees. Can’t wait for next week.

        • Not sure if I will WC or not.

        • It is a dilemma. I still feel like I don’t know what my best choices are. So will probably just bring in Raphina (if he is cleared to play) for Sarr next game. Have not been doing well…but too early in the season to panic.

    • I’d planned to WC this week and I’d still like a better team than I have. But my original plan was mostly to avoid a big loss on Ronaldo’s price as people move to Lukaku and it doesn’t seem like CR7 is dropping too much. New plan is looking at WC14 when ManU fixture change and the new manager sets his team out.

  2. Scout – “Jota injured and won’t play in the friendly against Qatar”?
I don’t put much confidence in that report. Wait and see if he plays in the qualifier against Luxembourg.

  3. England need to play it cool. Andorra are on fire ! diablo

  4. Lukaku out of Belgium squad for injury? Is there anything to back this up?

    • Plenty by the look of things. Muscle fatigue. Dunno which muscle though, maybe it’s a really obscure digital muscle.

All eyes on the press conference next week.
