Looking to entertain whilst not losing the opportunity to be somewhat informative we come to a new addition of Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! We have selected a number of quick questions that we have seen on the minds of fantasy managers this past week and hope the many, many, many years of knowledge from our 3 very senior (Queen of England old) writers will assist you in your decision making. They will follow some semblance of order as explained below, but they are stubborn at best and forever crankheads so answers are never restricted by any rules as you will soon find out. Grab – You need this player on your squad.
Avoid – It’s a trap don’t get suckered in.
Bore off – Could care less either way. Grab him, avoid him or dress him up if you like.

So I started making this WC team as a joke with my back 7 but then I ended up actually not hating the rest of what I could afford for my front 8. Would would make for an interesting second half of the season!

The front 8 would just leave Boyd on the bench and call it a day. t first I thought there’d be no way I would even consider it but now…

Tough call. Probably Terry, but i’m not sure what level of defender you could get in. At 4.7m it would have to be a defender that fits in well with your other four. The FFF fixture rotator may shed a bit more light on who that may be. If not Terry then i think you’d be looking at one of Cesc/Di Maria. Good luck choosing which of those to bin :shiftyeyes:

Burnsy its solid. Keeping Siggy could turn out to be a masterstroke or a complete flop. I do worry slightly for Swansea while Bony is away, but I could be over worrying that.
All else is great, I’m not a massive Pelle lover, but he’s done ok to be fair. Defence and keepers looks excellent.
I assume you’ll chuck someone in Aguero’s place this week and until he returns? Costa?

+1. I read today that Bony and Gomis want out of Swansea during this window. Whether that’s a plus or a minus for a Sigurdsson pick, remains to be seen.

Imagine the damage he will cause, should they get him. Surely Dzeko would be sold in the summer, probably back to Germany, which opens up a large can of worms as to what players they could get on a swap deal type thingy. First name that pops to mind is Draxler.
Silva, Yaya, Aguero, Bony, Draxler. Game over.

Yes I haven’t played my wildcard just yet but I think I will next week. I havent gave the Aguero decision any real thought but I currently have Rooney in his place so I might just play him for the time being. I just don’t find the appeal of other 6-7m options. Pelle served me well earlier in the season and as Soton fixtures become favourable again i’m hoping he’ll start reaping the rewards. Thanks for the answer.

James is that your current draft for WC? Personally I wouldn’t want to double up on Southampton and Arsenal like you have. I would reduce the price of some players (Clyne, Caz, Chadli whichever you decide) and beef up Austin. Just my humble thoughts mate
