Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

Welcome to another edition of Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!! It is International Break time and you know what that means. Those 3 pistoleros are called in to save us from the empty feeling that no FPL for two weeks leaves us with. So I have gathered the boys and this time we have dived into our topics with somewhat of a plan. Yes!! There was a plan on a Bore Off article, if it’s possible to live in a world where Trump can win, we can have a plan for Bore Off. We broke it down by positions and slowly but surely, tried to answer some of the questions that most concern FPL managers. Whether we answered them in a way that is helpful is a different question. 😉 So without further ado let us get to it and see if we can provide a little help, some laughs and a couple of “what an idiot” moments. Let’s Roll!!

Hey guys, how’s it going? Thank you so much for the GABO article- hilarious questions and answers as usual and just the tonic for the IB and the post-election hangover here in the States. Waiting on the Sanchez news like many and ready to make some moves, but trying to play it smart and hold off until closer to the deadline to see if anyone else has problems.

Hey Red, glad to hear you’re still alive smile On which note I found another great podcast – would have been better to have found it earlier but they’re worth listening back over. Rich Hall’s (US Election) Breakdown. Worth listening to the one released yesterday and the first ‘caller’. That should hook you in and give you a sense of what the rest are like. Very funny.

Hey init, thanks for passing that along. Will definitely check it out, I’ve been loving the podcast stuff as it’s perfect background chatter to have on while I’m with my 14 month old during the day. My FB news feed has been going crazy the last couple days, almost don’t even want to go on there right now as people on both sides are going mental. Happens every election cycle, half the country is happy and optimistic, the other half is convinced the world is going to end. I’m going with my usual strategy: take care of my family, pay my bills, show up to work, and keep my head down. smile

        • inittowinit says:

I do all that except the last one but mainly because I don’t live in a country where more or less anyone could be armed to the teeth at any given point smile

    DMC says:

Firmino and Coutinho both in Brazil’s squad. Kun benched, as it had been previously announced.

At this point I expect my entire squad to return from the break injured. #CanIJustStartOver

Brazil thrashed Argentina literally. A bit Surprised to see that with Messi and Higuain up top.
Mr Coutinho can’t stop scoring though

Well just watched the highlights. Argentina were crap. Not a single shot on target from inside the box. Brazil could have scored plenty more. Firmino missed a sitter. Coutinho’s goal was a masterpiece. Aguero was a stranger for all the time he was on the pitch.
Funes Mori and Otamendi were outrun a number of times. Zabaleta did nothing on the flanks.
Romero made few some good saves.

That’s all about the Premierr leaguer players.

      • DMC says:

And Fernandinho showed good composure at dmc after being yellowed on the 6th minute!
Great performance from Brazil and Argentina needs to up their game if they are to qualify.

        • nishant says:

Yes mate. With all due respect to Fernandinho. forgot him. 😉

It’s strange how such wonderful gems like Messi Higuain Aguero and Di Maria can’t gel together. Always been a lover of Argentina (for Messi particularly and Crespo during his time)

Neymar was class though. The Argentine back line needs to be tightened though. They were vulnerable during wide plays.
