Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! GW8 The USA Edition

Welcome to the Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! GW8 USA Edition article. Having heard what our European writers have had to say about their own FPL seasons , Change of plans, the American contingent finished their part of this double edition of GABO first (just like the Ryder Cup), so we will go with them. Don’t let this put you off though laugh We jest of course, because we know we have a good many regular site member from ‘over there’ and they all clearly know their stuff. They follow it as avidly as we do in the UK and in many cases are actually proving to be more successful. We here at FF247 love playing their game – MLS, and we would like to think we have had a fair degree of success in doing so. Except when we completely miss the deadlines! Do they have the same issues, what are their takes on our league and their fantasy game in relation to ours and how are they faring this season so far? Let’s go find out…

Thanks to Init for getting the questions together and hope you fellas enjoy something to keep yourselves entertained while we wait out this International Break. In about a day or two Init will be publishing the European addition of this same GABO.

Thanks to all who participated and remember your answers will live forever.

Init loves to decorate will never be forgotten and now add Guy and his love for Notting Hill.

Thank you for putting such decent questions to Moe, Larry and Curly.

Excellent! Well, ok, not actually read it yet but excellent that it’s up (thanks to Mito for that as I’m away right now), looking forward to this one given that these 3 are, let’s say…. unhinged slightly? laugh Should be fun!

Quality stuff! USA continues to shine… for once.

Love the ‘what influences your captain pick each week?’ part:

“I like to read the Captain Picks article really really quickly…

Just kidding. I don’t read them.”

    My least favoured part? “N/A”…

    Cheers lads.

Didn’t start out as that, but just struck me to split it that way when I saw the volunteer list. Although technically Chins is ‘ours’, happy to lend him out though given that rank laugh To be fair, he doesn’t care and I respect that, given how funny he is.

Don’t worry he’s theirs now, I received a weight loss pamphlet and a pack of tic-tacs in a part exchange deal many moons ago. I did follow his AOA strategy on GW 1 though, seemed a good idea at the time.
