Welcome to the Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! GW8 USA Edition article. Having heard what our European writers have had to say about their own FPL seasons , Change of plans, the American contingent finished their part of this double edition of GABO first (just like the Ryder Cup), so we will go with them. Don’t let this put you off though laugh We jest of course, because we know we have a good many regular site member from ‘over there’ and they all clearly know their stuff. They follow it as avidly as we do in the UK and in many cases are actually proving to be more successful. We here at FF247 love playing their game – MLS, and we would like to think we have had a fair degree of success in doing so. Except when we completely miss the deadlines! Do they have the same issues, what are their takes on our league and their fantasy game in relation to ours and how are they faring this season so far? Let’s go find out…

    Feel disappointed for the pass GW…34pts with Ibra capt..

    plan to change it before price fall…

    i thinking of my midfielder

    Mirallas -> Joe Allen ( Stoke ) or Snodgrass ( Hull )
    Antonio -> Son ( Spurs )

    Stoke and Hull is coming easy fixtures. …
    is it worth to hits -4pts to get one of them?

    • Hi fcsh, apologies for your post being missed. Not sure why that was, wasn’t like you didn’t try a few nudges!

      I assume these moves are driven mainly to get Son in. Pity you can’t do it in one but I do feel him and Snodgrass for those two is a strong swap and quite possibly worth the -4. If it was him and Allen I wouldn’t be keen at all but with Snoddy on set-pieces and always good for a goal anyway I’d say yes to that one. The rest of your team is good and with those 2 it’ll look really strong, you just got a bit unlucky last week, it happens.

    • Can you “inactivate” a wildcard? I really wouldn’t have WC’ed that team. It looks pretty good to me.

    Have 1.9 ITB. Thinking of doing Son and Walker in for McAuley and Barkley. Advice is appreciated.

    • ChrisOllie25 they are good move but will that leave you any cash plus wait until after IB.

      • If I do make those transfers I will have .2 remaining. May have to make those transfers tonight with Friend going down tonight and Kolscieny potentially going up tomorrow night

        • ChrisOllie25 just Flet & Cap not doing it for me , its a shame you cant raise the cash for Snodds , but the two moves your doing seem fine 😉

        • Capoue I am giving a few more games but I am monitoring his form

    What do you think?
    I think I’ve got pretty good coverage (especially considering the next 10 games) – 2x Arsenal, 2x Man City, 3x Liverpool, 1x Man United, 1x Spurs, 1x Leicester, 1x Chelsea

    Long-term I’m trying to decide whether to TRANSFER OUT Sanchez and Capoue in order to TRANSFER IN Walcott and Son. I want to keep the Arsenal coverage but feel like I need more Spurs players – and it’s pretty hard to ignore Son at the moment. Capoue is pretty much my 1st pick off the bench every week for the next 10 games if he stays… wondering whether it would be better to have the option of Son and downgrade Sanchez to Walcott. Currently, I have no spare funds ITB.

    If I make the change, it would also free up around 0.7m to upgrade my defence – thinking I would upgrade Kingsley to 4.5m DEF or McAuley to 5.0m+ DEF.

    What would you do?

    • It’s a good move but I would go for Smith or Holebas for McAuley. West Brom have a tough set of games coming up
