Grab, Avoid or Bore off!
Welcome to our second installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season. For those new to the site, it is a simple question and answer segment that covers everything from the serious to the absurd. So why do we call it that? Tradition, is the easy answer as we basically have veered so far off course that it barely has any resemblance to the original format. Thanks to our members for some of the ideas on the questions, we tried to include most of them or some semblance of them. Well enough of the small talk from me, let’s see what the girls have to say about a number of topics ranging from FPL dilemmas to who is cuter?
Can I abuse International games or coaches or the people or whoever is the cause of Aguero’s injury
Sergio Aguero was left in tears in Argentina’s dressing room after the Manchester City striker suffered a hamstring injury during the 2-0 defeat to Ecuador.
Aguero lasted just 20 minutes before being replaced by Carlos Tevez and is now set to undergo tests to determine the extent of his injury.
“He had been having a great time and was playing well,” said Nicolas Otamendi after the match, who also revealed that Aguero had been crying in the dressing room following his injury.
Gerardo Martino, meanwhile, refused to speculate on the severity of Aguero’s latest setback but insists the injury is not linked with the one he was carrying before the international break.
“He had been carrying a knock with his club, during the week we took good care of him,” said the Argentina manager.
“He was moving around the pitch well, but unfortunately he felt some discomfort and we are going to lose him.
“I haven’t spoken to the doctor but I can confirm the injury is not the same as the one he had been carrying with his club.”
The City striker is the latest name on Argentina’s growing casualty list. Lionel Messi, Ever Banega, Enzo Perez and Marcos Rojo had already withdrawn before Thursday’s defeat.
Superbly timed write-up team FF247. Was getting quite bored of just getting here and heading straight for the comments section. Well done indeed. Very entertaining read, I can now proceed to pretend to work today.
No questions about Klopp…? Hmmm
So, soo, sooo sad about Aguero, and I hate it when footballers cry after an injury, signals the injury might be a bit more serious and worse is their mental state.
Stiff upper lip, if he’s injured I might have to play a 352 with Vardsay and Ighalo up top, and am not even THAT worried
Alright if aguero is out injured for a long time, who should I pick out of these?
Pelle or vardy or lukaku? Leaning towards pelle, also looking to bring Sanchez next week.
I have ighalo and martial as my other strikers..
Does that not make Bony a good option
Well I wud rather have Silva, KDB and Kola from City!
Morning all any news on Kun injury ????
If he comes off in tears it must be bad.
Yep – God knows what we are going to do with him!!
Yeah I’m not sure and I’m on wild card.
Have you brought him already?he might be ok… Hold fire for now and see what happens
Yeah he’s still in there at the moment. Will wait. I kind of fear he will be out for a couple of months
Great read on the Bore Off always enjoyable cheers again 😉
If Aguero is out for long, all the “Martial>Pelle” people will be so pissed. B)
What abt ppl who got in aguero after this GW? Ha ha.. they wud have most certainly taken a hit too.. 😛
Pellegrini had confirmed that Aguero was injured even during the match against Newcastle…
Sweet !!
Argentina coach Gerardo Martino clarified Aguero had suffered a different injury to the one he sustained with City.
“He had been carrying a knock with his club, during the week we took good care of him,” Martino assured.
“He was moving around the pitch well, but unfortunately he felt some discomfort and we are going to lose him.
“I haven’t spoken to the doctor but I can confirm the injury is NOT THE SAME as the one he had been carrying with his club.”
Just when I thought things got back to normal :whatever: !!
I would say Aguero doing well and getting injured is normal.
