Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

Grab, Avoid or Bore off!

Welcome to another installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season. As always we will tackle some of the most important questions in FPL, like is your spouse worth having if Pelle was available? After we tackle some of those hard hitting questions we might get silly and answer questions about Ozil, Aguero and others and it how it relates to FPL, time permitting. As I gathered the 3 Amigos this week, I noticed an air of grumpiness in the lads. Well, Kop was grumpy, the other two were their usual self. Come to think of it, grumpy is Kop’s modus-operandi so I guess everything was as expected. Init is forever optimistic, but always willing to lay into someone, Cookie is as always waiting for the other shoe to drop as he is eternally pessimistic about his FPL team and Kop was…well you know. Well enough about them three and how they were feeling and onto something that matters even less, their opinions on FPL…

“I would never cheat on Giroud” hahah brilliant! Thanks Mito and crew. Great read, although I think I missed all the questions about FPL. Wait, they were in there? I must have been distracted by Vardy’s teeth, Ozil’s eyes, Rooney’s hair and old Jackie-boy’s muscles. I was asking my wife a few weeks ago if I should bench Vardy or Mahrez based upon looks smile

Always fun to read this type of articles laugh

Btw just read this : Eight members of the Newcastle United first team may have headed away on international duty but the remainder of the squad still gathered at the club’s Benton base to train on Tuesday – with Ayoze Perez chief among them.

Interestingly, Karl Darlow continued to step up his return to full fitness by saving shots, while young goalkeepers Brendan Pearson and Ben Woolston were also put through their paces as Freddie Woodman has headed away on England Under-19 duty.

With Tim Krul ruled out for the campaign and Rob Elliot still nursing a thigh injury, Darlow could be needed between the sticks in the days and weeks to come.

Finally my backup GK will be seen playing LOL Begovic has a got a competition :hippo:

Alexis Sanchez will be given a mid-season break to stop the Arsenal forward from suffering burnout.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger plans to take Sanchez out of the firing line in the next few weeks to help the Chilean recharge his batteries.

Wenger, already hit by a crippling injury list, fears that returning early after the Copa America in the summer will catch up with Sanchez before the end of the campaign.

Sanchez did not have a proper summer holiday or rest and Wenger is concerned one of his most important players could be vulnerable to injury.

Arsenal have made a strong start to the campaign despite a host of injuries but Wenger is hoping for some good news for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

    WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF ?

Hey guys, decided to activate my first wildcard over this international break to help me sort out my team after the Payet injury. Thoughts on the first draft?

Looks good to me, not 100% sure of Mata though. You’d have to bring in KUN or at least think about having bank there for the inevitable trade in I’m guessing?

      TJ

That looks very strong all round mate.

I think if you want to get Kun in two moves you’ll need to be looking at sacrificing KDB. Would you do that? Otherwise it may take shifting 3 or 4 players to get him.

      • TJ says:

Yeah, if I wanted to get Kun in I’d have to sacrifice one of my mids (probably Coutinho) and get a cheap bench midfielder. Plan is to use my all out attack chip the gameweek after so I can make use of all my good mids, and then Kun will probably be fit and firing by then so I can put that plan into action.

      Silvers says:

Hey TJ how are we this is a very strong team , have you any funds left ? thk I would have Dier over Aled more potential for points.

Your MF looks good if you want cash from somewhere you could replace Cout with Mane, Bolasie or Ayew.
Wouldn’t change GK & FWD line @ least for the nk 4-5 GW unless you want Kun back in in which case you need a plan to get him.

Looks a reasonable first draft. 😉

TJ I would like to propose a trade: my team for this team! Is that possible? Who do I need to call?
      Good looking balanced squad!
