Grab, Avoid or Bore off!

Welcome to another installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season. As always we will tackle some of the most important questions in FPL, like is your spouse worth having if Pelle was available? After we tackle some of those hard hitting questions we might get silly and answer questions about Ozil, Aguero and others and it how it relates to FPL, time permitting. As I gathered the 3 Amigos this week, I noticed an air of grumpiness in the lads. Well, Kop was grumpy, the other two were their usual self. Come to think of it, grumpy is Kop’s modus-operandi so I guess everything was as expected. Init is forever optimistic, but always willing to lay into someone, Cookie is as always waiting for the other shoe to drop as he is eternally pessimistic about his FPL team and Kop was…well you know. Well enough about them three and how they were feeling and onto something that matters even less, their opinions on FPL…

    I know it’s a bit early but what is everyone’s plans for GW 13?

  2. Out of genuine interest, for people who have taken out Payet who have you taken in and why?

    • I brought in Bolaise and used the little extra to upgrade Sterling to KDB.

      • Takasaki I like that pick. He just keeps getting better and better. He’s learning when to get forward and it’s going to lead to goals! He is on 4 yellows I think though…

    …should I do payet to Ozil now before Ozil goes up in price or wait? What would you do?

    • It’s a tough one mate but I would do it.

    • Hi FDMS, personally I wouldn’t. That’s not to say you shouldn’t, just that I wouldn’t. With Sanchez in situ and no Everton cover for their good fixtures I’d wait it out and grab Deulofeu instead. That should also give you a sufficient bank for Pelle to Kun in a couple of weeks.

      • I wish I could do pelle and payet for deulofeu and kun….but Ofcourse I’m 0.1 off, that’s just my luck

        • It might be a sign! Perhaps Deulofeu this week, Sanchez to Ozil after that or another enabling transfer and then Pelle to Kun? Pelle has Villa at home in GW15 though so may be worth keeping him until after that.

        • Didn’t consider selling sanchez but you might be right, maybe that could be the only way to field a strong XI, which is crucial during the Christmas period as players get rested. Cheers init

  4. Which 2 out of these 3? Kane, Pelle, Lukaku?
    I currently have Vardy,Kane and Lukaku should I leave it as is?

        I currently have Vardy, Lukaku and Kane but I’m trying to figure out should I put Pelle in there instead of one of them.

        I’m also on my WC so I can mess around with the team.

        • Kane and lukaku would be my choice…
          Just because Everton has nice fixtures and Kane is a better player the Pelle imo

        • That’s what I currently have but I’m just a but concerned with Lukaku being inconsistent plus I was thinking of doing Bolaise to Deloufeo and didn’t think having both Everton attackers would work. My current WC team is this:

        • Decent team. Would almost think it’s a wildcard team. smile

  5. Which combo is better short term and long term?
    1) kun, deulofeu, mane, rose( will rotate deulofeu and ighalo)
    Or
    2) kun, Ozil, alli/lanzini, rojo(will rotate Alli/lanzini and ighalo)

    • I’d prefer 1

    • Probably edging toward 2 there all things considered, despite what I said above! Seeing the full teams would help I guess but not much wrong with either really.

    • I like 2 as well, specifically with doubts over Mane and ManU have better fixtures than Spurs. Rise is mostly a 6th midfielder though with the amount he gets forward… I still like #2 though.

      • Thx GP. I do have a freebie. I also like having 8 good attackers over an IB. My only other thoughts are using it to finally ship out Oxford or do Gomes to DDG.
