Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

Grab, Avoid or Bore off!

Welcome to another installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season. No better time to put out a semi-helpful article, as we start getting into the tough weeks. You can no longer get away with flying by the seat of your pants (finger pointed firmly at you Mitro) with blanks and double game-weeks, and the chips starting to get used by those that still have them. For long, many have believed that a lot of the higher ranked players are there more by fluke than anything. So as we head down the stretch expect the managers with well thought out plans to start climbing up the overall, so if them managers were truly fluky they will be exposed. So with that in mind, we hope the 3 Amigos of mediocrity can help a little, even if it is by pure chance that they call one right this season.

    Very entertaining post you guys. I always look forward to hearing the responses to the random questions asked. How do you come up with these stuff? Excellent guys :thumbup:

    Now can you all please give me some recommendations to my team below. I have 1FT 0.3 in the piggy bank. Fearing for the dreaded GW30 should i roll over my transfer? Also my question is, should i play Evans ahead of anyone of the defenders? VVD in superb form and Daniels on PK’s. I’m thinking Captain Vardy as well.

      Thanks Eagle, Mito’s mind works in mysterious ways!

      I suppose technically you should be playing Evans over VVD but I’d probably keep it as it is. Vardy will be most people’s captain this week I’d imagine.

      • Eagle says:

        Yes Innit that’s what i thought. I wanted to bench VVD but they have kept 6 clean sheets on the bounce so form over fixtures for that one i believe. Another candidate for the bench was Daniels but he is on Penalty kicks and is providing decent assists lately. I notice that eventhough Crystal have not been winning lately, they have score a goal therefore ruining clean sheet chances and now Adebayor is playing and scored on his debut.

          That’s what I was thinking also, Palace have scored in their last five games despite only winning one of them and even that was the cup game. You can see both opponents scoring in those games but Daniels is more likely to pitch in with something positive whereas Evans is more likely to cry off injured early doors.

    As someone who scored a sweet clean sheet from Moreno this week I will read your answers to that question as jealousy! smile
    Great read this is crew! Nice work Mito, Init, Cookie & Kop!
    Now, thinking between two moves:
    Moreno -> Wollscheid/VVD/Fuchs
    DDG -> Forster/Schmeichel
    Money is not an issue. 0 fts. I know it’s not great to take a hit for a defender/keeper, but I thinking of setting myself up for the next 5-6 GWs.
