Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2019-20
Guess who’s back, back again….
With the fpl season getting closer and closer to starting, it is of course time for Bore Off to also kickoff. I have gathered the three originals, as is tradition for each first edition of the new season. As always a new season brings new hope. Hopefully this article helps a little, but not too much.
Looking back through the first Bore Off from last season, I noticed that the Amigos had many things right. All 3 had Salah as the first person in their team sheet, they were all for the LFC double up in midfield with Mane, which would have worked out well for any manager who did. Cookie and Kop were talking about a back four and in Cookie’s case he was talking up a 5 back. Cookie was ahead of his time! Init had his eye on Milivojevic and Cookie said this “Mili is obviously great for a penalty every time Zaha falls over”. Kop talked about a possible golden boot for Auba and was hopeful that Allison would sign for LFC.
Hopefully they can replicate some of their good calls for this upcoming season, let’s see what they have to say.

I have a seriously good side starting this season but im stuck with Dendonker as a starter and not on my bench which consists of Kelly , Greenwood and Simpson . Are any of these 4 guaranteed to start ?

Haven’t been able to focus on FF with study and work commitments the last week, but have had a good read through today and think there’s been some very interesting thoughts and line ups. Here’s my current team. . .
15m itb for 2 forwards. . . . . . Decided to go without Kane to get a more balanced team.
Any input?
King and Murray, then upgrade Jorg to Perez and Boly to a 5.5?
Or Wilson and Murray and upgrade Boly by 0.5?
Or Vardy and Murray lol

After a tip on 247 (cant remember by who) Wol & WH have great rotaion in def. Boly is surely a starter, do you know about Masuaka?
Not feeling the BHA attack tbh. King was in my head with Jimenez, but 3 Wolves seems like a bad idea.
I’m avoiding Wolves cos of Europe really.
King at 6.5m could be a steal
You might be better off with two cheap strikers like Wilson and Deulofeu then use the rest of the money to upgrade Jorginho.
Is Wilson a cheap striker? at 8 he’as gotta be mid priced, no?

Not a fan of Jorginho at all, but would probably mean going without one of Sterling, Salah or Kane. Salah to Mane gives you an extra 1 million.
Strong team . . .
Only thing i dont like is the keeper situation, but then i’m a “pick and stick” strong keeper manager.
I guess, i’m not a an of any newcastle in. Despite loving the place, i think they’re going down and there are better choices.
Kelly and Daniels are now both injured fairly long term. Could mean Rico is a 4 million starting defender now

Probably because he has KDB, BSilva, DSilva and Gundogan as competition for a place. Plus they have Mahrez and Sane around as well. Who you going to drop
Loads – well, 0.9% – of people have put their faith in Phil. That’s an ownership in the thousands.
With a dedicated following maybe he’ll make it into 1% of all teams.
