Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2019-20

Guess who’s back, back again….

With the fpl season getting closer and closer to starting, it is of course time for Bore Off to also kickoff. I have gathered the three originals, as is tradition for each first edition of the new season. As always a new season brings new hope. Hopefully this article helps a little, but not too much.

Looking back through the first Bore Off from last season, I noticed that the Amigos had many things right. All 3 had Salah as the first person in their team sheet, they were all for the LFC double up in midfield with Mane, which would have worked out well for any manager who did. Cookie and Kop were talking about a back four and in Cookie’s case he was talking up a 5 back. Cookie was ahead of his time! Init had his eye on Milivojevic and Cookie said this “Mili is obviously great for a penalty every time Zaha falls over”. Kop talked about a possible golden boot for Auba and was hopeful that Allison would sign for LFC.

Hopefully they can replicate some of their good calls for this upcoming season, let’s see what they have to say.

Thanks for reading Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!. This article was written by Mito21.

Lloyd Kelly Bournemouth’s new defender is out, does that mean Rico should start season?

Hey guys! Quick one for wiser heads:
Aguero and 7M midfielder OR Kane and Bernardo Silva?
PS I don’t have Sterling or KDB arm…

Don’t tell everyone! He’s my bench 4m and I’m expecting a good price rise when people switch away from Kelly in week 1

That was meant as reply to 54.2 regarding Johnson of WHM but replies still not working well for me

Hey Everyone, I feel like I’m getting back into the swing of things as I’m actually get the chance to do some more tinkering with teams and experimenting.

Looking at the preseason hub links (Cheers to GP for that!) and getting some idea on lineups.

A few thoughts have come into my head. I’ve got some differentials in mind (as we all know I love a differential!). If anyone has any thoughts or insight into these players let me know please.

Chambers – looks like he’s starting. Could he be a nice cheap option into the Arsenal defence?

Angelino, Zinchenko, Stones – will any of these actually start regularly or do we just stay away from Peptation?

Hanley – I’ve noticed he’s played as capo in a few games and has featured in nearly all games so could he be our 4.0 def?

Bernard – cheap option into the Everton attack over Siggy?

Will Bilva play a lot? I’m trying to figure out if I can afford to not have Sterling.

Trossard – New player into the league (I believe?), nice fixtures to start and has got a good few assists in preseason. With a new manager too it could be a bit of freshness to Brighton.

Anyone taking a punt on a cheap fwd to partner a premium? I’m looking at Drmic, Jota or Che Adams

Let the debates or slaying of me begin! Haha

Depends how your lining up at the back.Hanley could be a good bench play, will start but unlikely to light up the pitch. I going for taa and VVD at the back and unlikely to leave my team. Playing a back 3 with the 3rd spot rotating have a.smith (4.5) their for gw1. Zinchenko 1st sub and Kelly also on the bench.

Chambers is going under the radar. He seems to be starting. Though Holding is due back soon and you can’t imagine Chambers starting for long.

Find out on City after community shield but expecting Zinchenko and Stones to be first choice to start season. I’d be surprised if this is not the case.

Hanley is only playing because of injury situation. Norwich have awful fixtures anyway. Avoid

Bernard is first choice currently but Everton seem to be linked with new players who would prob start instead.

BSilva seems pretty nailed. Pep loves him

Trossard could be ok. Been playing well do we think Brighton will be any good though. Jota and Adams could both be decent options

Cheers Smash. I don’t know if Chambers will make my team but he is in one of my drafts.

I’d probably prefer Stones just because Mendy and Sane can play LB and could mean Zinchencko will be rotated.

I wasnt too sure on Hanley. I think I’m going with Navarro as my 4.0 just because there is little chance of him dropping to 3.9 as soon as the season starts.

I’ll keep an eye on the Bernard situation but he looked decent last season and I expect him to kick on. Might play safe and go with Siggy though.

Yeah I’m thinking Bilva will be better choice as it’ll give me that extra cash.

I haven’t seen Brighton play but I’d hope they aren’t bad as I’m likely to go with Ryan and Button as my GKs.

I’m interested in Adams but might wait and see on Jota as Wolves just signed Cutrone so this might hurt Jota.
