International break time always means one thing, GABO time!

This mostly passive aggressive panel was filled with our fearless feared leader Init, Rosco, who after only one week of doing Init’s site duties needed a therapist and GP who tries to always be nice, but has been sneaking in snarky comments on the site. With a crazy first few gameweeks and a crazy transfer window to boot, there is certainly a lot of questions when it pertains to fpl that we all probably have. I have asked once again on the site for any in particular you might want answered and have included the ones I could that were not addressed in other questions.

  1. Just a suggestion to newbies and reminder to exp. managers –
    As I guess we all still have a dilemma to different extent whether to WC in Gw4 – keep your WC drafts ready (with screenshots) so that if you decide to go for a WC close to deadline, you have few clear drafts in hand.
    I have a prior experience of last minute WC (last season) and in that process, the core was okay, but in the complementing positions I struggled and put some players whom I did not like later. That was purely not keeping screenshots of multiple tinkering that I did over 2 weeks.

    • I just keep screenshots of any teams I see on here that I particularly like the look of.

      Some may say that’s cheating or lazy but personally I think that’s delegation at its finest. rofl

      • Init, I am doing the same.
        Sadly, none for now as nobody has Bruno in it laugh

        • There’s a reason for that though!

        • Gear, I predict a great bond, tandem with the two Portuguese. There is no harm to wait for a couple of games to find out. If that fails, he is expensive enough to swap for anyone else. But, if materialises, it will be a hell to bring him back.

        • So you’re not bringing Ronnie in then?

        • Gear, probably I will but will try everything possible to keep Bruno.
          There must be some way unknw

      • Great…..I did not do it last season. But then last season was quite different than others.

  2. A real conundrum whether to captain Ronaldo or Lukaku next week. Lukaku scoring each week, Ronaldo brace.

    Could I get some thoughts on this lot please?

    I think Torres is going up tonight so will probably want to bring him in if that’s the route I’m going down.

    • Quite like that tbh

      Only thing I would say is you’ve got to accept that torres will be rotated and I think maybe matip too when gomez or konate are fit

      • Cheers Hammers. They are really the only two I have question marks over. I don’t know if Jota and a 4.6 is a better bet

      • My draft, with three minor exceptions. As for hammers, it’s Torres, and Pep’s obsession with rotation, that bothers me. Do you have any backup plans if you get fed up?
