Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2018-19
Usually when we ask our writing team to come forth for an International Break GABO we see tumbleweeds in abundance, and little sign of actual writers. This time however, for whatever reason, they were literally scrambling over each other to get involved. So much so that we have no less than two episodes of GABO to bring you in the break this time. We’ve decided to split them based upon perceived personality traits; Glass Half Full & Glass Half Empty. We say perceived personality traits… it was actually based solely on their original answers on WhatsApp to our request for entrants. Funnily enough, it was unerringly accurate.
First up then we have AT, Swirly and Rosco. AT and Swirly’s answers were very similar; when would you like it done by? As you’d expect. Rosco’s answer was a ‘brown thumb’…. which we took to mean a positive sign, others took it… well, we shall leave that to your own imagination.

Hi, this is my first post, need advice from the guru here, have this tea and 1.3 ITB, do i upgrade Jimenez to Rashford or Kante to Mili? Or should i upgrade both and downgrade Luiz? Any input?

That’s a good team.
Yes a quick swap to Deulofeu may work, though you take your chances there with rotation; Jiminez similarly.

Nice to see a minor variation: no Hazard. Personally I think Haz has more chance of points but Kane is by no means a bad selection. And your side is not lacking in firepower.
Have been thinking about B Silva myself (currently have D Silva and the other two Man City attacking players everyone has).
No doubt you’ve weighed up the Jiminez rotation risks and are at peace with yourself about that.

Teams looks good. If I had to change something it would be the keeper. Burnley away and Utd at home ar hardly good fixture in terms of CS potential and that’s all you get from Patricio really unless he decides to save a penalty or the like. Watford and Palace have better chances at a cleanie in one of their games vs Fulham and Hudds respectively so given that you already have Obi Wan I’d get Foster from Watford.

Hey guys. Have used up my WC and FH. Can’t say that it didn’t work out for me. Was dropping in the ranks and went till 440k. Now for the past few weeks(post WC), have seen good increase in ranks.
Anyways, here’s my team. Already used up my FT on Salah to Hazard. Don’t think I have the luxury of removing Jimenez. Thinking of doing Arnie to Higuain. Think he’ll get a goal or two against Cardiff/BHA. What say? One more option is to do McCarthy to Ederson. Any other suggestions? 3.2m itb.
Also TC chip is active. I need to think of BGW33 as well.

If I was not playing FH,then I’d go with second option Smash, even though first one looks much better on paper. Foster gives a good DGW35 cover as well.
But, I believe you have activated your FH, so Option 1 for me.
