Having heard from the positive bunch, we now move onto the ones who are not so much, which should be fun… To be fair, we’ve been massively judgemental and quick to conclude based on a one line response. We shall let you judge for yourselves whether we were right or not… #wewere 😉

  1. Chip update…

    • Not as many FH’s being bandied about as I’d have expected then.

      Also; Do they buy blue bricks or do they paint them afterwards themselves?

      • Must be the famous Staffordshire blue brick…

      • I suppose many managers either played theirs last week (FH) or maybe frittered it away earlier in the season. It’s when you see stats like that you realise the main current of the game flows on steadily outside of fantasy football forums.

        Managers careful planning and taking a punt on Kane, say, could be vapourised by someone in their ML TC Sterling.

    • Wow quite many TCs on Aguero and Sterling I assume, hope they all TC Kun while I cap Sterling and Sterling outscores Kun by a hefty 21pts…

      May I add that I’m talking about Azpi and Laporte 😆

      Basically which is better Azpi/Ederson or Laporte/Kepa?

      • It’d be Azpi and Ederson for me, not so much based on potential attacking returns but more so on their chances of starting both games.

        • Yeah there’s that nailedness consideration too :thumbup:

  3. Ok I’ve (man)caved in and tinkered with my FH team, came up with a bit of a differential draft:

    Kepa

    Schlupp – Wan Bissaka – David Luiz

    Sterling – Hazard – Pogba – D. Silva

    Aguero – Rashford – Batsu

    That’s obviously if Rashford is fit, looking at those City fixtures I feel they will crush Fulham and Cardiff, I mean the fixtures don’t come any better, and to tackle the fact that loads are TCing a City attacker which with those fixtures is fantastic(!!!) I wanna go with 3 City attackers to tap into that golden flow of likely fantasy points when City score 10-12 goals in GW32… Could change one of the Chelsea defs to a United def but Chelsea more likely to keep cleanies so will double up there to maximize points, hoping that United will concede! 🙂

    • All your points make sense but I can’t help noticing you didn’t comment on your double Palace defense smile
      Which obviously could pay off but are you not worried about it?
      With Sakho injured I’m a bit skeptical, I believe they just conceded twice at home to Brighton…

      • Haha, indeed that was a very strategical omission, but I think there’s a good chance of clean sheet in the first game at least, and if Zaha is out then Schlupp will play in his stead higher up the pitch maybe, don’t know which other def to have for 4.7m or less…

    • Let’s hope the ‘golden flow’ is a long, steady stream of fantasy points.

      Looks fine to me. The focus is on strong sides with the best fixtures. If Schlupp is oop then the side’s effectively a 2/5/3, which can’t be bad.

      • Indeed! Might just go with the golden flow then, I have nothing to lose as I’m chasing over 100pts too so I have to be a bit different as well…

  4. Lads, which do you think is better for the dgw, jota or bilva?if it is jota then ederson is going to be my keeper and azpi for defence, if it s bilva then i m going for kepa and laporte.

    • Neither particularly, I think both get rotated.

    • My preference would be the Jota option – he’s been more consistently getting attacking returns than Bilva lately.

    Thinking of going 4-3-3 with my FH team as I’m just not happy with any of the midfielders under 6.0 in a 4

    What about this?

    I could downgrade azpi to rudiger or Luiz then swap batman to zaha if he’s fit

    • Thinking it may be the way to go myself. Plenty of double clean sheet potential at 6.0 and below i defence as opposed to what’s available in mid at that price, most of whom are massively subject to roatatuon due to those semis.

    • Yes I had ended up in a very similar place. Just with Smalling and Rudiger instead of Lindlehof and Azp.

      • Similarly. Have Rudiger myself at the moment.
