Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2018-19

Having heard from the positive bunch, we now move onto the ones who are not so much, which should be fun… To be fair, we’ve been massively judgemental and quick to conclude based on a one line response. We shall let you judge for yourselves whether we were right or not… #wewere 😉

Welcome to all, from the Glass is half empty club….

Thanks for reading Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2018-19. This article was written by inittowinit

Cheers lads. Especially Smash as it looks like you wrote Matt’s responses for him 😉

Interesting stuff! Most of us here look like we are singing from the same hymn sheet here

    Afternoon all.

    Pretty settled on this now.

I know the Kane debate will linger on but I’d rather have him in a DGW with his potential than not.

    Thoughts?

I’d be more than happy with that.

      Zed Leppelin says:

Yeah, it’s a good one, if I’d have the TV I would go for Kane as well as you don’t have to make any sacrifices with high TV to get him! Only one I don’t like is Deulofeu but I get the reasons to get him in…

      • MadHatter says:

Yeah it’s Townsend/Milo or Deulofeu and I suppose the easier game is against Huddersfield but Deulofeu can have a good day once in a blue moon!

      • Zed Leppelin says:

Well now that I wrote that down it makes me wonder whether there could be a better combination for Kane and Deulofeu, for instance Rashford and Alli perhaps: it’s because I take it you’re not capping Kane so that might be better, if you capped Kane then him with Deulo would be miles better obviously but you’re probably capping Aguero/Sterling so I think I’d prefer Rashford (if he looks likely to play both) and Alli…

        • MadHatter says:

          Oh don’t…

        • MadHatter says:

Trouble is I could see Kane getting something at Pool and a good chance at Palace, I don’t see that in Ali.
If Lukaku is fit then I don’t really trust Rash either

        • Zed Leppelin says:

Yeah I like Kane more than Alli of course but if Kaku is out then Rashford is similar to Kane (imo) whereas Alli would be better than Deulofeu… But I do see the appeal of Kane though, it’s tough choice

      Rosco says:

I just can’t decide weather to go with Kane or not!! It’s not really about the money as I can get a decent team with him, but I’m not convinced he’ll do that well!

      • MadHatter says:

There’s the problem and I’m in the same boat. I could go without Kane but for who?
There’s a case for Rash and Lukaku but they haven’t really got easy matches and aren’t scoring that consistently.
Also it’s hard to trust Piggy even though Chelsea have the easier fixtures – Haz may well be enough there.
I don’t know who’d I’d upgrade for taking Kane out

        • Rosco says:

I’ll probably keep Mane if I don’t go with Kane, something like the below (although it should be noted I have 17 drafts featuring pretty much every DGW player going!!)

      Frenchie says:

My current draft is almost the same, so I like it! smile with just
      Lukaku instead of Kane
      David Luiz instead of Lindelof
      and AWB instead of Schlupp
      Leaving me with 0 itb.
A bit hesitant on the Chelsea double up at the back but those fixtures…

      Smash says:

I like this team. I’m not against Kane if you have the team value. You have more than me and it looks strong

    Will do Salah/McCarthy to Sterling/Ederson for -4.

But i am also considering Son to Hazard for another -4. Good idea or just some the-grass-is-always-greener-on-the-otherside-greedy Idea?

And the second part of GABO was as good! Never in doubt.

Thanks for your POVs there boys, very goo to hear.

I’ve heard so much about this VVD guy. Sounds decent.

I refer to Kop’s comments on the Contributors League and endorse that completely. I always look to do fairly well in that and if I do I feel the rest will take care of itself.

Top effort again lads, thanks.
