Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2018-19

Having heard from the positive bunch, we now move onto the ones who are not so much, which should be fun… To be fair, we’ve been massively judgemental and quick to conclude based on a one line response. We shall let you judge for yourselves whether we were right or not… #wewere 😉

Welcome to all, from the Glass is half empty club….

Current sterling form might actually favour him over Kun?

Using the free hit this week. Should I activate now and bring in some of the ones who are most likely to rise in price like sterling and aguero?

Yes absolutely, also bring in the cheapest players, like defs Simpson and Connolly, who will be your bench fodder, although during IBs there are normally not many price rises so I think you’re not in a hurry… Today were no price rises for instance, but you never know, Hazard is also quite close to a rise

Yes and do as suggested. I started by bringing in the cheap players (the two 3.8 defenders plus a 4.2 midfielder (Romeu)) then seeing what I had l left. Get a 3.9 goalie if you haven’t already + Quaner if you’re playing a 3/5/2 or other variation that ends in a 2.

Then it’s good to just shuffle the pieces around, like a plot map in an ops room.

    Alright folks!

This international break has been great in giving time to those of us on FH or WC / this international break has been torturous for giving too much time to those of us on FH or WC!!

Sometimes too much time just means you end up over thinking things! I’ve often observed that those who simply go with the flow or do the obvious end up the ones that get the most success, and those of us who spend too much time stressing over every permutation end up frustrated and thinking ‘if only I had went with draft 436 instead of draft 123 etc.

With that in mind I’ve put together my latest FH team, it keeps things simple:

    1. Players in form
    2. Good spread of funds
    3. Ignored ‘posible’ Rest and rotation (we just don’t know)

It might look a little ‘template’, it may have a few players who only get 1 game, it even contains a player with a single game ( shock horror!) but IMO it looks pretty decent. There are caveats (Zaha being fit for example) it will probably be tweaked (definitely.. maybe) but the core will likely remain the same.

Anyway, I’ve babbled I’m too much now! Would love some input just Incase I’ve over looked anything obvious, and as you can see, I do have other options!! 😉
