We have two Gameweeks to catch up on this week after a slight delay.

In GW8, Kruzcampo took the honours with 13 points, narrowly beating redmecca and Shrivathsa on 12. Kruzcampo’s week included four exact scores, while SomH3i was the only player to correctly back Neco Williams as First Goalscorer.

In GW9, nathc168 produced a superb 18-point score to win comfortably, ahead of Ko NAY on 13 and Stone Frog on 12. nathc168 hit three exact scores and also correctly picked Rogers as First Goalscorer.

Rogers was a much more popular FGS pick, with several entrants collecting the five-point bonus.

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the weekly prize will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded prize..

• follow it with your guess for the time of this first goal (to give yourself a fighting chance in a tie-breaker situation).
