Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW27

Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW27. We made a promise to you all last week and we keep our promises…. as much as we can! Due to the DGW of GW25 we had to postpone the results but we will reveal them for you all right now. In the double game week we had a brilliant 30 managers all get a double-digit score which meant a very high scoring week. Fantastic shooting to you all! Alas though we had to have one winner and we had just that with 2 people tied for 2nd, 7 people just one point back but one manager on top of the pile! Tied for first runner-up spot were the managers, Botman and Robben and Sarri-Ball on 15 points. Botman and Robben had to rely on the FGS to get 2nd but Sarri-Ball got 15 points from their predictions alone. They won’t be happy to know that our winner this week surpassed them both due to the Watkins FGS as Qwkliduzzit got 13 points but the added 5 meant they overtook both managers to take first spot on 18 points.

Now for GW26 and this one earned an audible groan from me (Matt) when I opened the results. Just heartbreaking for the loser. For consecutive weeks we had a massive amount of double digit scores with 18 people getting 10 points and still not making the podium places. We had 4 managers on 11 points in a tied for 3rd place but tied for top on 12 points were Daisy2002 and LoudAtlas. Now this is where my heart broke for my fellow contributor… His FGS time prediction was 8 minutes away from being correct but Daisy2002‘s FGS time prediction was 7 MINUTES away from being correct so they take the top spot this week. Just brilliant stuff!

Many congratulations to Qwkliduzzit and Daisy2002! Please email us here: contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize.

Overall League Table

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the weekly prize will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded t-shirt.

So, to recap, all that you need to do to play is:

• copy & paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each;
• tell us who you think will be the First Goalscorer of the Gameweek; and
• follow it with your guess for the time of this first goal (to give yourself a fighting chance in a tie-breaker situation).

Here are the fixtures; best of luck to you all!
