Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5

Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5. We were treated to a lot of goals in GW4; 41 in total across the 10 games. There were at least 3 goals scored in every game barring the 0-1 win for Forest over Chelsea. This accounts for yet another week of bumper scores with 21 managers hitting 10+pts. 25 of you also correctly guessed the FGS (Bowen against Luton). It wasn’t needed to separate the top spot this week, but always good to get those extra 5pts on the board!

In 3rd place, we had a three-way tie with Qwkliduzzit, Tekno-Kun and Booty01 all ending on 13pts. Padster had second place all to himself with a very respectable 14 but it was not enough to beat our very own Loud Atlas from taking this week’s prize with a brilliant 16pts return!

Many congratulations to Loud Atlas. Please email us here: contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize.

Overall League Table

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the t-shirt will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… they are few: 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Kick-off this week comes on Friday at 19:45. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded t-shirt.

So, to recap, all that you need to do to play is:

• copy & paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each;
• tell us who you think will be the First Goalscorer of the Gameweek; and
• follow it with your guess for the time of this first goal (to give yourself a fighting chance in a tie-breaker situation).

Here are the fixtures; best of luck to you all!

Man Utd v Brighton
Spurs v Sheffield United
