By the way — as RafflesHotspur and ODT both noted on Page 2 of the GW33 article — there was an issue with the LHS of GW32’s results table: it was accidentally unchanged from GW29’s results.

So there you have it from the man himself, after this we will hold off publishing results until after the final game of the season. Here are those aforementioned results!

GW33 – ko nay scored 11pts and that took the third spot on the podium, mahelmy, OddDane, nathc168 were too busy duking it out for second with their 12pts, enough for hammerfan to take 14pts all the way to first on the podium – what drama.

GW34 – SomH3i and Goldilocks went toe-to-toe and ultimately share the bronze with 9pts each. Meanwhile it was a clear silver for Shinespark with 11pts. It was another battle for the gold, 12pts for both DMC and Terminators, but it was the robot from the future who seized victory with a FGS prediction just 8mins out from the actual.

GW35 – Goal Machine, Shrivathsa and Reg all got 8pts and lovely bronze medal. 10pts was enough for silver, DMC and Mahelmy dually obliged. Meanwhile it was 12pts for the win, both WhoisRonaldo and AJW managed that, with the latter taking the win with a FGS prediction just 5mins from the actual.

Overall League Table

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the weekly prize will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded prize..
