We also see the champs host Boro, the Swans tangle with Palace in the EPL’s version of Sunday league football and poor man’s West Brom, Liverpool host the suddenly alive Black Cats who by the way have used more than their allotted 9 lives to survive relegation over the last couple of seasons. Saturday is closed by the best fixture on paper when first place Chelsea tangles with Spurs. Expect Tottenham to try and keep the status quo as they have already reached their end of season goal. Behind Arsenal and back in the Europa zone right where they belong.
Sunday brings us 4 fixtures. Watford has an easy one as they get the Allen-less Stoke side in the opening game of the day. Arsenal get back to their scoring ways against The Cherries and that is followed up by the last 2 fixtures. United look to gain ground on the top teams when they face West Ham and Southampton sorta welcomes back their former manager when Everton pay a trip to the St. Mary’s stadium.

109pts behind my mini league leader (he is 80pts ahead of second place) and need to make up ground. Am keen to ship Redmond and Jenkinson (bad punt last gameweek) and at least get some Chelsea coverage at the back (ideally Alonso as he looks hot). Any advice? 1FT and 0.1m ITB.

Hi captain, I’m guessing you’re going to have to raise over a million to stretch to Alonso? Can’t really see how you do that with just Redmond, you’d have to ship somebody else too.
I agree with shipping them two as a 5m non playing defender isn’t ideal and I don’t see double coverage from the saints as being necessary, for a hit you could bring in Luiz plus Fer this week to jump onto the Chelski defense but the fixture isn’t great for that with the Blues being at Man Citeh.
You could also potentially go for a Zaha and Vertongen combination I think to take advantage of the Spuds run of good fixtures and Zaha’s good form.
Cheers guys. I was thinking it was going to be difficult to get Alonso in without shipping someone else. Not too keen to get in a midfielder under 5m as they’re not going to return a lot. Vertonghen and Zaha sounds like a decent option and Fer could work out.

More inclined for Phillips myself Elle. He’s more involved in the actual attacking play. Matic can’t keep getting these 5 yard pass assists which someone then somehow turns into a goal from 30 yards out.
I’m struggling with this lot. Coutinho needs to go tonight I think. So I guess options are either put Walcott back in or Pedro but triple Chelsea is a bit much. Pedro and Kane in could work though.

Yeah that’s true, I still have Vert on the bench against Swansea though and I’m not 100% sure about that. Don’t fancy Chelsea to stop at least one City goal.
Tough choices there. Vert has to play I think. I’d be pretty confident about Pieters I think. I’d bench Morgan. Guess I’d play Alonso over Nyom but City will almost certainly score at home.
That’s why I’m thinking of playing 442 with Nyom, Vert, Pieters and Alonso at the back and drop Zaha/Philips to the bench (Gundogan in the pic, haven’t decided which one to bring in yet)
