Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 13 FPL News: If you scored big in GW12 or for that matter simply respectable, you are either a psychic or somehow life led you down a path where you turned to into a Victor Anichebe owner. Think we will take the low score and a clean conscience, but that’s just us and no one said we were not spiteful. Anyway, Burnley gets their tokus handed to them by City to start the game-week. That is followed by four 3pm games. Hull take on the aliens who stole Liverpool’s attacking talents in West Brom. We also see the champs host Boro, the Swans tangle with Palace in the EPL’s version of Sunday league football and poor man’s West Brom, Liverpool host the suddenly alive Black Cats who by the way have used more than their allotted 9 lives to survive relegation over the last couple of seasons. Saturday is closed by the best fixture on paper when first place Chelsea tangles with Spurs. Expect Tottenham to try and keep the status quo as they have already reached their end of season goal. Behind Arsenal and back in the Europa zone right where they belong.
Sunday brings us 4 fixtures. Watford has an easy one as they get the Allen-less Stoke side in the opening game of the day. Arsenal get back to their scoring ways against The Cherries and that is followed up by the last 2 fixtures. United look to gain ground on the top teams when they face West Ham and Southampton sorta welcomes back their former manager when Everton pay a trip to the St. Mary’s stadium.

Hey all, decent week with green arrows but i suppose a jump up to 1.5 mill isn’t exactly cause for celebration. 😉 2 FTs this week and seems like getting Sanchez in is a must, but can’t see a great way to do it with this squad. Time to WC? Thoughts?

    2FT, 1.1 itb
    DDG, Jaku
    Williams, Stones, Mustafi, Amat, Friend*
    Wally, Haz, Coutinho*, Gundogan, Allen
    Kun, Benteke, Austin

You’ve got six players in your squad who neither finished last GW healthy or started, I guess now’s as good as time as any to press the button mate.

Hi Colriles, yeah I think I’d seriously consider a WC there. Add in Kane, Sanchez, fix Coutinho, Gun, Jaku, Friend and add in some Chelsea / Spurs defenders. That said you may need a loan for all that smile

Wildcard the shit out of that mate!

Thanks guys, can’t hurt right? I’ve been pretty disgusted with this season so I’m up for anything! Couple questions:
      1- Alonso or Courtois?
2- Is Milner an option w/ Coutinho out?
      3- Walker or Vert?

      • Andy says:

Alonso if you can, marquee GK’s aren’t worth the extra value as they’re less likely to collect any BPS points and cheaper GK’s tend to earn extra save points.

I don’t like him, if it’s not a penalty he likely won’t be scoring much as he seems to assist the assister.

I’ll plumb for Verts as I always tend to go for the cheaper player when choosing between two defenders.

Hi guys. Had a decent score of 65 last week and jumped up 200K places. Have 1FT and £2.0 ITB. Already used the other FT last night and took out Coutinho and brought in Siggy before the price fall. Would like to somehow bring in Kane for a hit but don’t know if it’s worth it. Was planning on doing Sanchez and Austin out for Wallcott and Kane. Seems like many are transferring Sanchez in so don’t know if it’s a good move. Or is there any other way to fund the Kane move?

      Matt says:

Hey Eagle great score mate, I just spent the last few minutes looking at this and I honestly can’t see what to do other than Sanchez and Austin out. All you can hope for is Costa gets that 5th yellow at the weekend and your choice becomes easier haha

      • Eagle says:

Hi Matt – Thank you for taking your time analyzing my team. I’m wondering if a frontline of Kun, Costa and Kane is a bit too expensive. I’m also aware of the fact that Austin’s nice run of games up to mid February is just starting so is it really worth it for me. Also the fact of removing Sanchez is a bit worrying but would replace with Wally but it’s not the same. Even if Costa get’s his 5th yellow I would still like to keep him since i have made a profit of 0.3 on him and would be more difficult to bring back. Too many decisions. Basically its keep Sanchez and Austin vs Walcott and Kane.

        • Matt says:

          Personally I’d keep Sanchez mate.

        • Austin+Siggy+2 to Kane+5.0~ish ?? (yeah I know)
Otherwise its a question of pick 3 from Sanchez,Aguero,Costa,Kane & I don’t think there is an answer to that worth gambling hits on.
          I’m likely going for Aguero,Costa,Kane ; bcos I have Aguero+Costa & cant afford Sanchez

        • Vinci says:

I wouldn’t get rid of Sancheza for sure.
And I would be relunctant to bring Kane for such a high price.
          Two reasons to keep Sanchez-Austin!

        • Eagle says:

Vinci – Sounds like the majority are saying keep Sanchez and some are even taking a hit to bring him in so i think its best for me to keep him and resist the temptation of bringing in Kane.

      Brookyboy says:

Eagle keep Sanchez !! That is all !!

      Pancho says:

Eagle, I think the only way to get Kane is to lose Costa or Kun. I would be tempted to do one of those this week and see how it goes. You could always go right back the other direction next week. I really don’t think that Kun will go nuts against the Chelsea defense as they seem to have figured it out at the back. City, on the other hand, have been leaky at best, so Costa could really give them problems. They don’t have much of a physical presence to deal with him at the back other than Otamendi. Maybe Kun -> Kane for the week and then assess after that? It’s obviously always dangerous to lose a healthy Kun, but if you want Kane this week then that seems the only advisable way.

    Looking for some suggestions here.
    2FT, 2.0itb
Looking at next 5~8 gw for transfers.
    Thinking of Coutinho+Lukaku to Firmino+Kane
Been wanting to drop Cech to someone cheaper, but always its coming that something else needs doing, & much as I want to improve the mids keeping fingers crossed that now Gundog doesn’t need keeping for the CL a while he can get back to banging in fpl points.

      Vinci says:

These moves sound reasonnable. Personally, I am not convinced by Kane yet. Especially given his price.
And I notce that you forward line is increadible, your top 2 defenders are excellent, but your mid is kind of weak.

So I would sell Coutinho and Lukaku for Firmino and a cheaper forward this week, and then improve the midfield next week.

Looking for a Coutinho replacement, leaning towards Matic/Pedro.. What do you guys suggest?

    1- Siggy
    2- Matic
    3- Pedro
    4- Chadli
    5- Phillips

I got Lallana back as I think he will play v Bournmouth. He was at Milners party in Manchester last night and Klopp says he is in a good way but has not yet trained but with it being only Monday he has 4 days to train.

    Mitro says:

    Evening all!

What is everyone planning for this GW?

I’ve already done 1 FT last night which was Coutinho out and siggy in. I still have 1 FT and I’m thinking of doing a -4, which is:

    Hazard to Sanchez
Stones (or Heaton if injured) to Cedric (ain’t got a clue)

Team would look like this going into GW14 – what do you think? I appreciate taking out hazard is bit of a weird move but all my rivals have alexis and I finally get to have him in my team. (Smash and Init)

    Mitro says:

Do you think stones will go down tonight? He’s awfully close to a fall!!
