Live Match Chat Gameweek 14

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell for GW14 rang last night and those with Palace defenders have spent the day celebrating and patting themselves on the back.
But now its time to look forward to tonight’s nine other games, which offer huge potential to move higher in your leagues, or alternatively slide lower!
So, the team sheets are about to be revealed, with that dreaded word we all hate, namely “rotation”, ringing in our ears and causing untold stress and worry.
Who will Wenger rest? Will RvP be fit to face Everton? What surprises has the Special One got in store? Will Dzeko get the chance to break West Brom hearts again?

And then down to the action.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Game Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for the second part of GW14 from all at FF247!

Ok. Post my team on a fresh page:
    Guzan – McGregor
Clyne – Vlaar – Terry – Kos – Turner (Car)
    Walcott – Ramsey – Ravel – Gerrard – Brady
    Lukaku – Suarez – Kun

What changes would you make? If anye? Both Clyne and Vlaar are doubts for the next game.

Considering to either replace Vlaar or Guzan. Guzan to Vorm and Vlaar I don’t know yet. Any ideas?

      Raziel says:

Aaah yes, just 1 FT left and ummm 1.6m in bank.

      • Why replace Guzan, is he injured?
Distin, Chiriches, and Ridgewell have some decent fixtures until WC. I’d rather replace Clyne than Vlaar since both are apparently at 75% to play, nicer Villa schedule.

        • Actually with 1.6 I guess you don’t need to go with cheapies, you could get someone like Coleman who looks to rise.

        • Raziel says:

Yeah, not just getting someone because he is rising though. I’ve had Coleman. He’s good. But would be silly to get him next since they’re playing Arsenal next. Sort of a risk. After that they have really nice fixtures though.

I’d stick with Guzan over Vlaar personally. Guzan was as vital to Villa staying up as Bentekkers fr me!

      • Raziel says:

Vlaar doing well though and bought him at 4.4m. When fit and Villa keep CS he always gathers BPS (7 already). Terry with a majestic 14 BPS is still the master though. Even though Chelsea leak goals he still manages to do well.

Lol, just noticed Gazzinga conceded 5 goals in 120 minutes, and he made 0 saves. HAHAHA!

I have Remy is it worth changing him to Lukaku for GW 16?

Or I can use 2FT for a move for Rooney until the Jan WC

Wish I had never done the Lukaku – Remy bandwagon now sad not performed.

I’m glad I’ve kept my trust in Lukaku even though he failed for quite a long while. Felt it would come good and the second/third strikers at Everton are just non existent at the moment. Didn’t Kone injure himself? Jelavic can’t score. 😉

      • Ripcurl82 says:

So a good idea then Raziel?

on the keeper note another idea Mignolet – Howard next GW but it would mean double Everton at the back.

    Help needed guys!

    Current team

    GK – Mignolet
    DF – Coleman, Shaw, Mertesacker
MF – Lallana, Ozil, Ramsey, (Morrison)
    SF – Suarez, Augero, (Rooney)
    Subs – Kasami, Ward, Brayford

I have 2 FTs and £1.5 million in the bank

I like the current shape of my team, but my thinking is too let Kasami take Morrisons place, then replace Rooney with Frazer Campbell, as Cardiff visit West Brom, so I reckon he may score. What do other people think ?

    Milk and Busquets says:

What are the thoughts on Bannan from Palace? Looking to replace Morrison. Have 6.6 but could do with a cheapie if there’s no one else..

Sessegnon, Yaya, Ramsey and Whittingham are the other midfielders I have.

    • 336.1

Sess and Whittingham have good fixtures, I reckon you can wait out the Morrison suspension and be set at midfield with Ravel playing against Sunderland. Might make more sense to replace Ravel right before Man United and Arsenal. I don’t see Bannan making it into your lineup ahead of any of your current midfielders in GW 15 or 16.

      • Milk and Busquets says:

Issue is I can’t field a strong 11 with both Morrison and Rooney suspended..

        Mignonette
Shaw (Goong to Ward) Terry, Jagielka, Baker, Mertasacker
Yaya, Ramsey, Sessegnon, Whittingham, Morrison (suspended)
        Rooney (suspended), Kun, Suarez

I don’t see Whittingham scoring against the new look Palace at their home ground.

        • Ah that makes sense if you are keeping Rooney and just playing two up front. Bannan might be a good differential, would also consider Shelvey or El Ahmadi who have been returning points recently.
